Osteria Antichi Sapori — Restaurant in Fasano

We had tried booking a table beforehand, but the phone was never picked up, so we just showed up when the restaurant opened. We managed to get a table at the far back, but it took a while for our order to be taken. Be prepared for different parts of the same course to be brought separately. My meat dish arrived, but it took more than ten minutes for my skewer and vegetables to show up. The grilled vegetables were undercooked and cold. I barely ate any.

They are clearly understaffed. They never even got around to clearing our table. We waited for one of them to show up so we could ask for the bill, but since they never made it to our table, we got up to pay at the counter. Wrong move. We got a lot of rapid Italian thrown in our faces—they were clearly pissed about it—but other customers followed our example. The kitchen looked like total chaos. I read the review and I give it a go, so the start was a bit cold and unfriendly but nothing too bad.

The position of our table was a bit funny as every time a car pass bye we could feel the air and the plan moving.. not so pleasant. Asking if we had a reservation on half empty Resturant mmh another funny feeling..

The owner was very nice and friendly so thanks. The waiter less, she was very slow and in somehow on the edge of being rude or kind of “I don’t want to be here” but on average ok.

Food 5 stars!? It was delicious everything was ok price range ok could have been better. But nowadays I get it everything is more expensive.

The main problem and that’s why my lower score, is to get some row cheese and 2 grilled dishes waiting 2h and half … that’s too much.. Especially I repeat in a half empty restaurant. I worked in many restaurants myself and definitely that was one of the slowest...

A lovely place to have dinner. Good and delicious food. We had antipasti recommended by the waiter, was really delicious. We had a really strange encounter when we were ordering our mains, there was 4 of us so everyone had their own choice of pasta/main, we were informed by the waiter the kitchen will be unhappy if there are many different choices of pasta orders.
