Trattoria La Grotta — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

The restaurant is not immediately obvious, but it is certainly worth seeking out. The view was impressive, the style was appealing, and there was plenty of space inside. The waitress was professional and very kind. We are a group of four individuals, and we are all family. We are a close-knit group, and we all enjoy spending time together. The total cost of the meal amounted to 119 euros, which included a selection of starters, various pastas, and ravioli with local meat. The price quoted includes desserts for all guests, as well as three coffees. It was a very pleasant experience to spend time there and see those remarkable places. Should you wish to explore a historical cave, there is an interesting one to which you can go with your children. I would unreservedly recommend...

The cave is nice, everything else is to be avoided. I was disspointed by the service and I felt cheated. We ordered 3 main dishes, 2 of them were the same so those they "came on a single plate", that is what they try to explain in a body languange showing that they don't care. The portion was actualy only for one person (six transparent slices of meat), but they cashed for 2 portions. Another "mistake" they made: they brought porc meat and I ordered beef. The "salad" was only cabage with 2 pieces of tomatoes. The cheapest ingredients and the smallest amount of food at high prices and a "don't care attitude about you turist, you are only once here, so leave your money and get lost"! I don't recomand this place...

31/12/2023 il peggior Capodanno che io ricordi. Cena con delitto....io e i miei amici credevamo potesse essere un'idea diversa, piacevole invece si è rilevata una serata disastrosa. Seduti in 17 (io e il mio gruppo eravamo 8) in un tavolo il cui spazio accettabile sarebbe stato al max per 12/13 posti. Sul sito dell' Experienze (organizzatrice dell'evento) o sul sito del locale doveva essere assolutamente evidenziato che saremmo stati messi in tavolate stile mensa (con tutto il rispetto per gli altri commensali) e in ogni caso non è ammissibile essere seduti ad un tavolo da cui per alzarsi si devono fare mille manovre e scontrare altrettante persone. Non voglio dare giudizi sulla rappresentazione perchè può essere una semplice questione di gusti ma sicuramente mi permetto di dire che non era nulla che si avvicinasse a ciò che ci aspettavamo: poco coinvolgente e svolta con tempistiche troppo slegate. E poi la nota più dolente (soprattutto in relazione a quanto pagato, 90 euro a testa): tre piccolissimi e decisamente appena accettabili antipasti, un piatto unico con INSIEME qualche raviolo burro e salvia e risotto che vi assicuro non si capiva con cosa fosse( si sentiva giusto il gusto di formaggio), un secondo costituito da due fettine di arrosto di maiale durissimo e verdure che erano evidentemente bollite e passata in padella (io le faccio meglio). Il top nel dolce: una fettina di pandoro (trasparente) con una salsina di frutti di bosco e un altrettanto pezzetto micro di dolce di cioccolato compattato in rotolino. Vino pessimo e forse peggio il brut portato al momento del brindisi. Non è stato nemmeno attivata anche solo all'ultimo banalmente una tv con cui poter fare un countdown accettabile (lo abbiamo fatto un po incasinati con i ns cellulari) e subito dopo è regnata la desolazione.....nemmeno un po di musica in sottofondo (fuori dal locale era fortissima ma dentro praticamente nulla) e ovviamente nemmeno uno spazio minimo non dico per poter ballare ma anche solo per alzarsi.
