Il Patio — Restaurant in Fiumicino

My family (two adults and one toddler) and I, plus some friends with kids, have been at “Il Patio” on sunny winter Sunday:

Atmosphere & Place 6: Considering the low season, the place was well organised and ready to welcome the guests. The table and the tablecloth make a difference, and at Il Patio, this is vastly underestimated. Bathrooms were not provided with hand sanitisers and when we arrived, around 12.30, they were already dirty. Menu 3: With all the Mediterranean cuisine options, I consider it not acceptable for a restaurant to offer only a specific menu type. In this case, only fish and seafood. The only option I had at my disposal was a plate of spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and deep-fried aubergine sticks (very yummy!). Service 6 ½: The crew was friendly and professional and always ready to satisfy our requests, especially the needs of the little ones. We waited for too much for the second round of dishes; this is not acceptable since the restaurant was almost empty at that time. Bill 6: Il Patio is expensive as the other places...

Started weak with a longgggg wait to take our order. We tried flagging down staff multiple times. Clearly they are understaffed. The calamari as a starter was delicious. Perfectly cooked and salted. I had the tuna and it was ice cold. Sister had octopus, also ice cold. Too bad because both were tasty but ruined served cold. Husband and brother had spaghetti vongole which was delicious for them. This came out 3-4mins after ours. Clearly the timing of their cooking and dish delivery is all off. We were there a total of 3 hours for a Saturday lunch. Obnoxious. The staff doesn't look you in the eye. I wonder if they are happy to be there? To even be alive? Poor customer service. I will definitely never return to this restaurant, not...

Prices way too high compared to other quality restaurants nearby and for the food they serve. Service is non-existent and so is professionalism. The food was very salty and was served cold. If you are not local or don't know the owner you will be badly served or not at all. If you are also someone who likes to eat in a calm environment be aware; you gonna need a ear protection. Screaming and crying kids all over the place. Very loud ambience.
