Taverna Paradiso — Restaurant in Fiumicino

I tried the Margherita at Taverna Paradiso, and it was pure perfection. Sometimes, simplicity speaks the loudest, and this pizza proved it.

The crust was everything you could ask for—light, airy, with just the right amount of crispiness along the edges. The tomato sauce was fresh and flavorful, striking that perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The mozzarella was creamy and melted beautifully, complementing the rich, bright notes of the basil scattered generously on top.

While draped quite nicely, the taste and quality was nothing to hold your breath for. The cacio e pepe with prawn tatar was basically just oil, didn't even taste the black pepper. The sword fish tagliatelle were worse, the fish was dry, hard cubes hidden in a tasteless tomato sauce with some olives. Tasted like a meal from the freezer.. Sad to call this...

Locale piuttosto caldo e accogliente. Ci siamo fermati qualche volta la sera,dopo essere stati in spiaggia. All'inizio si prende un aperitivo,poi si passa ad un antipasto ed una pizza. Tutto ben fatto con cura e dedizione. Anche la qualità mi sembra buona. Una nota di merito in più è da dare a chi si prende cura della preparazione degli aperitivi cocktail e non solo. La scelta giusta del bicchiere nel quale viene versata la bevanda non è da tutti. Credo sia uno dei pochi locali che ti serve l'amaro nel bicchiere giusto e alla giusta temperatura. Siamo incuriositi,prima o poi vorremmo provare la cucina. Devo far presente solo una piccola "sbavatura"...un consiglio: l'utilizzo della tovaglia va sempre fatto; anche se arrivo,mi siedo ed ordino un aperitivo. Non si sa mai...magari dopo l'aperitivo si vuole cenare. È gradita la prenotazione,soprattutto in estate se si vuole mangiare all'esterno. Personale molto gentile. Il conto mi è sembrato...
