Ristorante Concorde — Restaurant in Fiumicino

This restaurant is located within the Best Western. It is very convenient. It is nicely appointed. We read other reviews and they are all over the place. After being there we under stand why. Different parts of the place are good but others not so good.

It appeared clean and food choice was good. They have many good wine choices. Our group of 6 all had different items and there were no complaints and enjoyed. Nothing over the top. Sorry for no pictures but was just enjoying the moment with friends and took no pictures.

I give it 4 stars because the food and restaurant were good. The service is where they are lacking. We had to flag someone down to give our order. After first course we sat dishes aside for pick up. The brought second course and left the pile of dishes. For more room on the small tables we stacked more dishes and moved them to an empty chair. After flagging someone down and getting additional drinks, the dishes still sitting on the chair. We flagged someone down for the check after several attempts. The food was decent price for location. The plates remained on the chair even after we left. We had to go to the register to settle the bill as our payment sat on the table for quite some time.

Overall the food and restaurant was good. It would be so much better if wait staff checked on you occasionally but we had never during our stay. And when we did get them to the table they just went through the motions...

This was the worst food ever. Do not eat here. I typically will eat just about anything and I could not eat more than 3 bites before walking away. We had just spent 2 weeks eating amazing food all around Italy. Not only was this food inedible it was also the most expensive meal we had in Italy. Including eating in Rome next to some of the biggest attractions where prices were higher. The service was terrible. The music was USA based English music, menu was partly in English, and the pricing was clearly targeted towards taking advantage of travelers. Ironically when we spoke English they got mad at us and were super disrespectful until they sent one guy over who was half way decent to us. The servers stand in a semi circle by the door and pass judgement the entire time making the environment uncomfortable. But it was mostly the terrible food that made this place so insufferable. If you want a good meal, grab a taxi and go closer to the coast in town to eat. Trust me the taxi will be cheaper than getting a meal here and the food will be better....

My family and I stayed at the hotel for a night on the last day of our Italy trip. For dinner, our server, Fabio was somewhat taciturn, but attentive and impeccably courteous, and did a wonderful job. The time from ordering to recieving food was not quick but not slow either, though we were not there at a busy time. I enjoyed my cocktail, salad, and the complimentary breads, my family spoke highly of the seafood options, particularly the shellfish, octopus, and calamari. I docked the food one star as the shrimp were not all cleaned, and the fish skin was not crisped. However, everything was delicious and beautifully presented!
