We had a fantastic visit to Pici & Co., a hidden gem that blends tradition, passion, and flavor in every bite. It’s more than just a pasta factory—it’s a full experience.
We arrived a bit early for lunch (before noon), and they graciously welcomed us in and even gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of their kitchen. Watching the team hand-roll Pici pasta—a thick, rustic spaghetti—was mesmerizing. They refuse to automate the process in order to preserve the texture, flavor, and quality of each strand, and it absolutely shows in the final product.
Their tasting room features an incredible selection of fresh pastas in a variety of flavors, served with rich, flavorful meat sauces. Everything is made with locally sourced ingredients, and you can really taste the freshness in every dish. They also distribute their pasta to local restaurants and offer beautifully packaged options for home use.
Whether you’re a foodie, a pasta lover, or just curious, Pici & Co. is a must-visit. It’s authentic, welcoming, and...
Read moreI was so hungry that I didn’t take pictures ( ok, just of the dessert) but let me tell you, everything we tasted was absolutely delicious! The couple that own and operate the place are so wonderful and welcoming. We have some diet restrictions that were easily. We had 2 appetizers and 2 traditional pici dishes. The pici is their specialty and it’s hand made at their kitchen. We had one with veal ragu and one with tomato and special garlic both just wonderful. For dessert we had tiramisu cream with biscuits on the side and pistachio cream. Again, so so good, even the house wine was smooth and tasty. The place is spotless clean, prices are affordable and if you are in the area please give it a chance because you...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped here on our way to our farmstay in Tuscany. This is such a cute little restaurant, run by the friendliest staff. We shared a bowl of caccio e pepe, made with homemade pasta. Next door is actually the kitchen where they prepare the pasta, both for the restaurant and local establishments, and the owners were happy to show us around. They also have a small store where you can take home pastas, sauces, olive oils and other goodies.
This is located right off of the highway, so it's a convenient stop during your...
