My boyfriend, our friend and I visited La Brace for lunch this Sunday afternoon. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
From the beginning we knew that something was off about the restaurant and we were questioning whether it was a good idea to eat here. It took almost 30 minutes for anyone to even ask us if we wanted to order water. Finally when our server came to the table to take our order we were already ready to order our food as well. My friend attempted to order a dish but was made uncomfortable and forced to order the same thing as my boyfriend because the server told him the kitchen was too busy and it would be best to order the same dishes. Once our food came my friend realized that he was unable to eat it because he was allergic to the ingredients. He then flagged down the server to let him know and ordered something else. It took almost 40 minutes for him to receive his new dish. The whole time this server had a terrible attitude and obviously wanted to rush us so he could leave work at the time he planned. I have never experienced this type of service in Italy, let alone in any other country. I am surprised this restaurant is still open not only for the terrible service but also the sub-par food. This place needs to change the name, while the Pizzas are something special served fast full of flavor with crisp paper thin crust just blacked enough to give it the perfect crust. The seafood is delicious, the meats are delicious and the desserts are to die for. From the grilled vegetables side dish to the pasta Fruti Del Mar everything is great. Bruna is our attendant she is professional and quiet until she knows you then her smile and heart makes us feel special. She’s Romanian lol most restaurants are staffed from Baltic countries. The bar makes good real drinks and the place is bright and very large. Not enough parking because the place is always full. Is it gourmet NO, it just simply prepared food with excellent quality ingredients and great service. We go once a week because we know it’s consistently great food at great prices. Read moreSono dell'idea che se gestisci un ristorante devi saperti organizzare, e qui di organizzazione non ne ho visto neanche l'ombra... un compleanno Dove ci hanno specificatamente detto che il servizio iniziava alle 19 di conseguenza alle 19 ci siamo presentati e ci hanno fatto aspettare 30 minuti fuori prima di entrare, dopo essere entrati ci siamo accomodati per poter mangiare, accanto a noi c'era un altro compleanno arrivato dopo di noi. Dopo 30 minuti di attesa e ci sta, arrivano le pizze al tavolo arrivato per ultimo mentre noi ancora stavamo aspettando.... Il capo sala l'unica spiegazione che sapeva dare era "arrivo subbito" "sta per uscire il giro pizza" parliamo di un giro pizza, e non menu alla carta. Dopo parecchia attesa arrivano le pizze per i bambini, ma per noi adulti ancora niente... Chiediamo di nuovo al capo sala... e la risposta è sempre quella "arrivo" "un secondo " mentre devo dire che le altre cameriere erano più disposte a rispondere alle nostre esigenze... Alle 21.40 arrivano le ultime pizze.. E intanto chiediamo il dolce facendo dinuovo presente che i bambini il giorno dopo dovevano andare a scuola.... Con questo.. ribadisco, o ti organizzi o questo mestiere non lo fai, deducendo che ci siano dietro anni di esperienza... La pizza era buona si ma non l'ho potuta gustare per la troppa attesa....
