We started with a nice plate of homemade pasta (tagliatelle) with porcini mushrooms and sausage. Then I had the pork ribs, which are not like the American ones with bbq sauce on them but came plain with no sauce but was very tasty. I had a side of vegetables with it. I have been to La Vecchia Torre several times, and it never disappoints. The food is home-style and everything is delicious: pizza, pasta, antipasti, and contorni. The owner is very friendly (and funny) and the restaurant is dog friendly. Location favolosa, servizio ottimo e cibo incredibile. Siamo stati qui a cena con moglie e figli. Per iniziare abbiamo preso antipasto all'italiana (salumi, formaggi e verdure all'aceto) e bruschette miste (pomodoro, tartufo, verdure grigliate). Scelta azzeccatissima, tutto molto fresco e saporito. È seguito graditissimo omaggio dei proprietari, delle crocchette di patate deliziose, fritte, ma per niente unte. Poi io e mia moglie abbiamo preso due primi, uno spaghetto alla chitarra con asparagi e salsiccia e una tagliatella funghi e salsiccia. Porzioni molto generose e gustosissime. I bambini hanno preso una grigliata mista e una salsiccia con caciocavallo. Ho assaggiato anche da loro, perché non sono riusciti a finire. Tutto veramente buono, bistecca morbida e succulenta, caciocavallo incredibile (se vi piacciono i sapori forti).
