Officina dell'hamburger Gallarate — Restaurant in Gallarate

As already pointed out by previous reviewers the hamburgers look better than they taste. I knew it is not a gourmet burger eatery but on Saturday evening it was my only choice as I didn't have time to go to the supermarket and cook dinner (I try to avoid eating out when in Gallarate because I don't like the food anywhere).

The hamburgers are good value for money but the main problem is the meat is too salty which was unpleasant.

Over salted food is a common problem in Italy 🇮🇹 because people use little or no spice or chilli 🌶 in the food and so they compensate for the lack of flavour with too much salt.

The patties also lack sauce and the caramelized onions that were a couple of cold onion slivers smothered in what tasted like jam did not impress.

The "baked potatoes" at 6 Euros sounded like a steal but they were 7 or 8 slices of potatoes that were baked in the oven.

They tasted ok but it is not what my mind configured when ordering.

The French fries are very good and they come free with the burger plus as a side dish they are cheaper so they are the better choice as a side dish.

Finally the so called "home made tiramisu" was characterless and can be described as a flop.

Yes, it is probably made on the premises but the ingredients used in making it are not fitting for a tiramisu (instead of the signature sponge texture it has biscuits that became soft in the fridge). There was also no hint of rum or marsala wine in the recipe.

The two waitresses are kind but they are overwhelmed by having to arrange food on the robot inside the restaurant and also attend to those sitting on tables outside.

Robots are a great idea in large restaurants (typically Chinese and Thai restaurants in Asia that have a capacity of more than 30 family tables) because the cooks at cooking station can offload the dish fast and it is sent before it gets cold.

However, in a small restaurant in Gallarate it is a silly gimmick because the tables are small and it slows down...

Delusione. L’officina dell’ hamburger è sempre stata per me una garanzia, ma non questa volta. Ordino un panino mi arriva però con una pietanza non richiesta. Lo Faccio presente e poco dopo mi riportano l’ordinazione, peccato che anziché rifarlo hanno semplicemente tolto la pietanza e riportato lo stesso piatto, come se l’odore e il sapore non si sarebbero sentiti. Dato che l’errore è stato della cucina, il mimino era rifare il piatto e accompagnarlo con delle scuse. Vi consiglio di fare più attenzione verso il cliente, anche perché se fossi stato allergico o intollerante sarebbe potuto diventare un problema. Da cliente mi sono sentito preso in giro, anche perché ho fatto presente il gesto ma senza riscontro da parte della cucina. Sulla qualità degli ingredienti nulla a che dire, ma questo errore è stata un caduta di stile.

Rispondo alla sua gentile risposta: le recensioni se sono costruttive, servono per migliorarsi. E si, è successo a Gallarate, qualche sera fa. Il panino richiesto era con bacon, zucchine e cheddar. Ed è arrivato con cipolle. Certo che ho fatto presente al cameriere che palesemente risentito dell’accaduto non ha immagino potuto fare altro. Lo ripeto apprezzo gli ingredienti, la qualità, ma non il servizio di quella sera. Il cliente non ha sempre ragione, ma era sufficiente rispondere con delle scuse perché questa volta qualcosa tra sala e cucina non ha...

Prima volta super incuriosito in.quanto sono un fan.degli hamburger. Vediamo

-ambiente...moderno..squadrato..bicolore...bianco e grigio...un po freddo...niente tovaglia...tovagliette..mmhhh...si e no...anzi...i 2 tavoli vicino all ingresso beccano tutta l aria della porta di ingresso ogni volta che si apre...va beh...

-qualità prezzo: 30€ circa x 2 hamburger normali 1 lt di acqua e 2 contorni...ho mangiato hamburger migliori allo stesso prezzo...non che nn.fosse solo sugf...ma nemmeno ottimo...direi buono...ma ho mangiato di meglio...

-pietanze: è un hburgheria...ci sono altri piatti..ma l hamburger dovrebbe essere il top...gli ingredienti sono buoni...ma forse proprio l hamburger in se nn era spettacolare..carne forse decongelata???...mah...patatina om...anelli di cipolla...un po briciacchiati...sembravano di cartone...golosi ma nn ottimi...

-servizi:...qui ok...personale gentile. E professionale...uno dei cuochi è anche uscito a fine servizio a fare un giro x i tavoli x assicurarsi che fosse tutto ok. Bene...denota attenzione.

Parere finale: buon cibo ma nn eccellente...x essere specializzata in hamburger...bisogna migliorare la carne e qualche altro dettaglio...non ho mangiato male....ma nn mi ha nemmeno impressionato...cosa che credevo in.quanto sono specializzati in hamburger...tornerò...anche se forse nn sarà tra le mie...
