Hostaria La Cross — Restaurant in Garda

Such an amazing vibe here. Stayed here for a week, and what a lovely time it was.|Rooms are (I believe) newly renovated, which shows. We had a little balcony too, which was lovely during the evening.||The thing that really makes this place stand out, is the people running it. It’s a family owned business, and everyone involved are such nice people. Can’t explain it, you’ll just have to see for yourself.||Breakfast that is included is fairly good, you can get some coffee, juice, bread, cold cut meats, eggs, and more. The establishment also have a restaurant in the evening, which is also good for a dinner/drinks.||Location is fair. A 10-15 minute walk to the center, but there’s a free shuttle bus just outside the hotel, which is super easy to use.||There’s also a dog, which I absolutely loved.||The only thing that annoyed me, was the fact that the AC turns off when you open the door to the balcony, and you can’t close the door from outside, to make it turn on again. The issue with the door not closing also enables the cold to escape, which seems counter intuitive in a way.||I like that they’re thinking of saving energy this way, but I would’ve loved to not be stressing about the room getting warm while I’m sitting on the balcony.||10/10...

Good location, only 15 min. Walking from center. Great breakfast, big and clean rooms, recommend. I would like to give big thanks for hotel service and ladies, who manage the hotel. They were the most kind and caring! They gave us good restaurants and wineries recommendations. On top of that, when we were waiting for free shuttle bus, they saw us and even offered to drive us to the center. That was one of the nicest things we encountered during our trip through Europe. We wish you best of luck and hope to stay at your hotel again one...
