Okay, so I have to say we didn't want to leave. We had the b&b ordered for 4 nights. Room: Sparkly clean, and they make it everyday. No mini fridge nor vault (which is fine, but don't expect it) There's a small terrace if you want to have a smoke. You should know there are some noises from tine to time from the kitchen down below (depending on your room, I guess.) I hope they take their hallway carpet to a wash. It looks pretty bad and it smells too. Food: Breakfast was loaded with fresh and homemade food, nice variety of choice too. (No eggs, though!)
Dinner (not included) grants you with a 10% discount if you're a guest, and even when we invited two of our friends to join us.
The food was great! You could tell they really make everything fresh and the portions are great.
Staff: Every single one of them we're kind and welcoming. Some spoke very good English.
If you're staying in Garda you should know this: everyone has issues with their mobile carriers. La Lanterna had no signal at all, and I relied on their WiFi. It's eveywhere, though. Even of you do have a signal your internet might not work. My girlfriend did have reception and her internet worked, but she had TIM carrier, but that's just in the La Lanterna. (I had 3/wind)
Thank you so much for...
Read moreWe have traveled 1000km to experience italian food. After one week in Garda and not very good experience on the beach it was our last day before going back home, we have FINALLY FOUND LA LANTERNA!!
PIZZA PULCINELLA was THE BEST PIZZA I have had EVER in my life!! EVER!! The taste was like a orchestra in my mouth, the tastes were changing as I was eating, I almost had tears in my eyes and was speechless and I had to pause for a moment to enjoy, as it was so delicious!!!!
The staff were super nice, heartwarming and welcomming. Also very professional and fast like a Ferrari. They had radio earpieces and worked like a great football team, in great synchronisation. I have never seen that before!! I have told the waitress this and she was honestly happy and moved.
The restaurant was very nice and the minute we sat down, we had a feeling that have found something good!! We just did not know it would be this good!!! TOURIST ADVICE - DO NOT GO TO THE GARDA BEACH FOR FOOD, Many restaurants there give you BAD DOG FOOD!!! Made for tourist (we have been to some, casa lady and taverna fregoso for example) VISIT LA LANTERNA FOR REAL TASTY ITALIAN FOOD AND...
