Marina Sushi — Restaurant in Genoa

I recently dined at this sushi restaurant, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, with excessively long wait times between dishes. Additionally, I noticed a surprising number of errors in orders, which made the meal very frustrating. The lack of precision in preparing the dishes truly marred the overall experience.

However, it's worth noting that despite the service issues, the food itself was remarkably delicious. The flavors and quality of the sushi were outstanding, which made the contrast with the service all the more frustrating.

I'm sorry to have to express such a negative judgment, but I believe it's important to share this information to help other customers make informed decisions. I sincerely hope that the restaurant can improve its service and order accuracy in the future while maintaining the exceptional quality...

Mi dispiace ma da persone che frequentano diversi locali di sushi..questo proprio no! Innanzitutto non ci è piaciuto il fatto che i piccioni volassero sopra i tavoli.. poi quando siamo arrivati abbiamo chiesto delle bacchette ( che solitamente nei ristoranti cinesi ci sono di default) la cameriera le ha tirate fuori dalla tasca a mo di sciabola!!! Ne aveva solo tre per il nostro tavolo che eravamo in quattro e non si è neppure posta il problema di dirci "ve ne porto un'altra". Come non bastasse le bustine contenenti le bacchette erano aperte sgualcite e la punta delle bacchette era sporca e nera. Mio marito ha ordinato tre piatti e dopo mezz'ora gliene era arrivato solo uno, gli altri se li erano dimenticati. Quando ha ordinato un sashimi per due gliene hanno portato uno solo. Il menù era molto risicato.. c era pochissima scelta soprattutto di uramaki solo una decina di scelte e neppure troppo interessanti. Buona secondo me la scelta di fare 4 pezzi e non 6 o 8 a porzione. Nighiri flambè solo 1 a persona. Considerando che il nostro amico ne ha presi 3 per lui io ne ho potuto prendere solo 1, negli altri ristoranti il flambè è senza limite. Infine il cameriere ad un certo punto ha iniziato a pulire il tavolo accanto al nostro con lo sgrassatore spruzzandolo.. sulla tovaglia!!!! E ci tengo a specificare non una ma..parecchie volte! e con il vento è arrivato tutto nei nostri piatti che ovviamente non abbiamo più mangiato. La location non era bruttissima e il pesce non era dei migliori Ma neppure cattivo. Sconsigliato..e la gente che da 5 stelle evidentemente è abituata a mangiare in posti simili! L'unica cosa buona davvero era il prezzo due menù un'acqua grande e un quarto di vino 36 euro ma secondo me il prezzo non ne vale la pena di mangiare...

Buyer beware. Sneaky "sevice charge" if you don't purchase their "all you can eat" option. This is no where on the menu and the management could not show me where this charge is explained anywhere BEFORE you eat. After several minutes they finally agreed to remove the fee but it was painful and would not be worth repeating . Hopefully they learn from this and start telling their customers about all fees before they order. On a positive, our waiter was helpful and friendly. We felt bad that he has to deal with his management's dishonest...
