Caruggio Eat & Shop — Restaurant in Genoa

Extremely rude. We were about to sit down at a table and the staff came up to us and told us it was reserved for customers (wanted to kick us out before we went to check the food in the counter). We had just arrived at the table and wanted to put our bags down and they assume we were not buying food. They had a bad attitude altogether and they gave us the wrong order. Avoid this place at all costs. I would rather starve than buy from here again. The woman at the till was the rudest along with the rest of the staff. Just because they can speak Italian in front of tourists doesn’t mean they can go around the corner and gossip about customers. They need to take a course on customer service...

Arriviamo oggi pomeriggio, nessun cliente in vista. Ci posizioniamo subito alla cassa, una ragazza mette in ordine le sigarette e parla con un collega. Ci ha visti, ma non ci ha neppure salutati. Al mio “se qualcuno ci considerasse…” ci viene detto, dandoci ancora le spalle, “ditemi pure se avete bisogno” 🙄🙄 fai tu siamo alla cassa (ma mi sono morsa la lingua). Ordiniamo 2 caffè normali e un succo (6 euro… perbacco!!!), paghiamo e andiamo al banco. La stessa signorina si appresta a mettere il succo in un bicchiere di plastica e mette su il caffè su bicchieri di carta (la pulizia delle macchine in un locale vuoto lasciava di per sé già a desiderare) Le dico “guarda che li prendiamo qui”, risposta “si lo so ma c’è la macchina rotta… “ io mi giro verso mio fratello interdetta e lui mi indica la lavastoviglie con un cartello “guasta”. Allora dico, mentre nel locale continuava a non esserci anima viva, “beh insomma, potevi dircelo”. La risposta arriva pronta, “è scritto dalla cassa!” Alla mia protesta, “è un’informazione che va data” la risposta, “non posso stare tutto il giorno a dire la stessa cosa a tutti “. Bar vuoto, bar sporco e nessuna informazione!...
