Lido Europa — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

It is well located and has a lot of foot traffic, but sadly it was not an overall good experience. Serves a standard quality pizza of what you'd expect but the wait time for service is incredibly long even with very few people (this did not seem to be due to a lack of staff). Although the staff can be friendly it wasn't generally a good service. A long wait time for menu's, drinks (when ordered), food, and even the bill when requested. Not worth the money spent for the quality of food and experience.

This place has a lot of potential, and I'm sure that with the right motivation and business/customer focus it would do extremely well in a short period of time. I sincerely hope to see this place do better in the...

We loved this lido most of all the beaches of Giardini Naxos for the quality of water, services of the restaurant and quiet atmosphere. Nearby coves have long shallow entrance to the sea so it’s safe for small kids for swimming . We made two consecutive visits to spend relaxing afternoons. We paid £35 for 3 sun beds and 2 parasols which is a bargain. Taormina Isola Bella and its neighboring beaches cost you more than double. We came for lunch on Sunday. The place was full, but it became less crowded during our stay. We waited around 20 minutes only to place the order, and almost a hour for cold starters to arrive. If you are with kids - better avoid.

The food itself is average in a good case. The cold mix of sausages and cheese was ok (but it’s really hard to screw, right?). Pizza was good. The salads that we ordered were of poor quality and not so good ingredients.

Seafood pasta that came last, after 1,5 hours since our arrival was a really good one.
