Mulligan's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Giugliano in Campania

I’ve been living in Italy for two and a half years now so I’ve been around to many different pubs and burger restaurants. This one is by far the worst one I’ve been to yet. My wife wanted to go there for our first time with a few of her friends so we did one Friday night. When we sat down the first round of drinks came out at a decent rate, but after that the service was very poor. The food that we ordered wasn’t too bad, which isn’t hard to find in Italy, even though what I ordered wasn’t what I expected. After 2330 they turned off the karaoke that had been going on since we arrived at 2230 so that was a little disappointing. When we finished with our meal we went to go pay and the check was wrong. We were over charged by a HUGE amount. Not only are the food and drinks in this place expensive, but they couldn’t even get the receipt right. We argued with the waitress about the price for the drinks and they reduced the check by a small percentage. After that one friend and I decided to stay back for a few drinks and to play some pool being sure to pay for the drinks as they came out. After midnight a crowd of drunk patrons arrived (that were Scottish from the nearby nato base) and started to crowd the place. One drunk Scottish lady started to stir up some problems and by that time I decided it was time to go. I will never return to this buisiness because it is the epitome of a low grade military bar. Even though the servers speak English, the service is not even close to what is expected by a place like this, and the patrons are very rude (if they are not Italian which most of them arnt). I would much rather spend my money elsware and not be surrounded by a bunch of spoiled military members and...

Great place and great friends all around. Best grade military bar in the area. bad chicks all over the place. love it. wouldn't change it for the world. if i could i would turn into a snail and carry this bar on my back. i have invested thousands of hours and dollars/euro into this place, i've seen it grow and change and i still always come back. i got like 3 numbers in one night and also made out with 3 girls in one night. you know who you are. lucky you. shout out to danny v. he is the goat and the handsomest bar tender. shout out to the pool table for always being there for me. bethany has a big forehead. lol brb jk jk...

Non c’era qualche pietanza che non fosse scongelata… posso passare sulle patatine fritte ma non sulla carne, scongelata anche male ( ancora fredda all’interno). Hamburger di “ scottona” più simile ad un tenerone, sicuramente cotto sulla stessa piastra di tacchino affumicato. Patate al forno servite gelide e di consistenza pastosa. Ordinazioni non corrispondenti a quanto arrivato al tavolo ma, dopo più 2 ore di attesa solo per ricevere una porzione di patatine (ancora surgelate e quasi immangiabili) ci siamo accontentati di mangiare quello che ci è stato servito. Io e i miei amici abbiamo mangiato qualcosa solo per fame, tra l’altro abbiamo mangiato tutti ad orari diversi: una parte di noi ha mangiato antipasti e carne e dopo un ora e mezza ad un’altra parte ancora doveva essere servito qualcosa… Sono solita allegare foto ma i piatti erano talmente indecorosi che mi sono anche rifiutata persino di fotografarli. Non ci torneremo mai più dopo questa esperienza traumatica e sconsiglierò a tutti i miei amici di recarvisi. Ah…so che non è scontato ma mi sarei aspettata - dopo le ridondanti lamentele da parte del nostro tavolo - che quanto meno ci venisse fatta un’attenzione sul prezzo, ma, ovviamente per concludere questa esperienza magica, abbiamo anche pagato il conto senza...
