Update to my original review:
Stopped in today w my teenage son, who really enjoyed his whiskey bbq wings. (They gave him regular fries in picture even though he ordered cheesesteak fries - the waiter later took them back and added the toppings… begrudgingly!)
Needless to say he (okay me too) was disappointed w my characterization of this place as a “breast taurant” when the only waiters working the lunch shift today were surly Italian men.
I tried the beef tacos and they were okay… something akin to the tacos you might get at school or say the movies. Ground beef, cheese (poured into the shell by the looks of it) and layers of shredded lettuce. Served with some yellowy runny guacamole sauce AND a side of MAYO ?! I asked for Tabasco and eventually received something similar. Overall they were okay. Missing salsa and especially surprising, tomatoes?!
Another close but no cigar for this place.
The waiter got really annoyed w me when I asked why they have so many beers on the menu and only 3 available. He said, “we don’t have those anymore!” and dismissed me. I drank water.

This is clearly a bar - it might also serve food - but it’s a American themed bar.
The menus are several pages - mostly booze and cocktails. The beers listed were not available the night I visited: not a single one! I ended up ordering a corona and at the last minute she said they had a weissbier so I upgraded.
I came for a burger, but ordered the wings.
The wings were fresh, mostly drumsticks and served very quickly. But they were NOT SPICY AT ALL.
I ordered the second hottest variety “Buffalo Hot” (I think) but they were more like deep fried wings that were then dragged through pasta arriabiata sauce. Clearly made for an Italian palate.
If the owners/cook are reading this: look up an American hot wings recipe and follow it!! It should be mostly butter and hot sauce - NOT TOMATOES!!
The girls waiting tables were friendly, I might return for a burger… but I was not impressed when the choice of beers, 3 total.
I’m sure the owner and staff are trying - but try harder, please, we really need a place like this, but not having a single beer that’s on your menu and failing on the wings is unacceptable in the...
Read moreI really wanted to love Wild Buffalo. I was looking forward to a nice American style sports bar with your classic sports bar food on hand. Unfortunately, I walked away disappointed. The menu has many options which I think might be part of the problem. You have some basics like potato skins and mozzarella sticks. We tried the potato skins. They were listed as having cheddar cheese, bacon, and sour cream. The cheese was a cheese sauce that tasted like something out of a can, it was not good. If they had just sprinkled actual cheddar cheese on top with the bacon they would have been good but the sauce caused them to be inedible. They have a number of wings to choose from. I chose the Franks original wings. They were very tasty and large. I felt that the price for the size and quality of the wings was very good. My only issue was that the wings could have been a little crispier and they don't come with a dip like blue cheese or ranch. Overall I was happy with the wings and would order them again. Finally, I ordered Nacho's to have has my main course. They are described as having corn tortillas, cheddar, beans, guacamole sauce, spicy meat, and Pico de Gallo. They were served with cheese flavored chips (think Doritos only not as good), the same cheese sauce that was on the potato skins, guacamole sauce, beans, and Pico. I could not eat them. The chips were not good and the cheese sauce was horrible. I returned them. If they would have been normal tortilla chips that weren't flavored and again were sprinkled with cheddar cheese or some other shredded cheese they would have been better. The one thing that I really did like about the bar was the decor. It was very nice inside and did remind me of being in an American sports bar. The staff are very nice and did a great job. Overall my visit to Wild Buffalo was ok only because I enjoyed the atmosphere. I will order the wings again and hopefully, some of the issues I noted here will get fixed as they work out some of the kinks. I will give it...
No non consigliato assolutamente.
