Dieses mit einem Michelin-Teller ausgezeichnete Restaurant liegt direkt im Castello di Gradara, gleich nach dem Haupt-Eingangstor ins Castello auf der rechten Seite. Sehr idyllische Lage mit kleinem Aussenbereich (Garten), daher ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und locker, man fühlte sich als Gast sehr gut aufgehoben. Auch Smalltalk und Scherze in Englisch waren kein Problem, in Italien nicht selbstverständlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen reichlich. Preis/Leistung haben super gepasst (z.B. Filetto di Manzo mit Ruccola und Parmesan für 18 €), das Dessert (Dreierlei Mascarpone) kostete 6 €. Bespnders empfehlenswert sind die Strozzapreti mit Oliven und Salsiccia Ragout. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in mittelalterlichem Ambiente und können das Ristorante La Botte gerne weiterempfehlen. Parkplätze direkt vorm Restaurant gibt es nicht im Castello (ausser für Anwohner), da verkehrsberuhigte Zone.
