Sale 26 — Restaurant in Grosseto

This place was simply great! Knowledgeable servers steered us to a couple of fantastic local wines that were excellent and very affordable. Generous snacks accompanied each glass of wine we ordered. Much better than the bowl of potato chips that have become common. We needn't have ordered any food at all - though one night we did. The antipastone tray (pictured) was great and more varied and generous than ones we've had anywhere.

We shouldn't say this - but this whole town a hedden gem! It is a welcome relief to travelers who are tired at how "touristy" many Italian cities have become. Grosseto is off the beaten path - and that gives Americans (and other visitors I guess) a chance to see a less-spoiled Italian town where locals are in the majority and tourists are...

Purtroppo devo dare una recensione negativa. Dico purtroppo perché l'esperienza era stata positiva fino al momento del conto: avevamo consumato un "tagliere maremmano per due" (indicato esattamente così nel menù alla cifra di 18€), una bottiglia di vermentino ed un bicchiere di limoncello. Al momento di pagare ci è stato presentato un conto di 67€ decisamente sproporzionato. Esaminando le voci dopo aver pagato troviamo la dicitura "tagliere maremmano 36€" così lo facciamo presente al banco. Dopo un momento di perplessità la persona alla cassa ci rimborsa i 18€ pagati e non dovuti e mentre usciamo sentiamo che commenta con un collega (diverso da quello che ci ha servito al tavolo) chiedendo "se fosse stato fatto di proposito". Non ho apprezzato il disguido ed ho decisamente avuto l'impressione che sia avvenuto...

Zufällig war ein Tisch frei und wir haben uns kurzer Hand entschlossen, den Laden mal auszuprobieren. Letztlich eine gute Entscheidung.

Die Burger waren üppig belegt und lecker, mit Fritten und Ketchup /Majo wer wollte. Außerdem ein üppiges Gruß aus der Küche vorweg. Davon ist der eine oder andere dann schon fast satt. Auch sehr lecker, mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten.

Bier gab's leider nur in Flaschen, aber Ichnusa schmeckt auch so. Hauptsache Bier von hier (OK, eigentlich aus Sardinien aber ist ja auch Italien!). Ist ja nicht überall selbstverständlich.

Die Außengastro in der Fußgängerzone bietet Abwechslung fürs Auge. Da ist immer was los. Die Stühle waren mindestens mal "interessant" - da aus Blech und ziemlich Industrial. Egal, war...
