This restaurant is 10 minutes walk from the Bard fortress in Valle d'Aosta: the perfect place for a rest after the visit. The personnel is welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm. We enjoy polenta with cheese, beef spezzatino and sausage, with a good glass of red wine from the region, and we came out extremely satisfied. They also offer fish, but when in Valle d'Aosta I would go for traditional local food (tortellini del plin and fassona meat looked delicious). Good choice of wines at reasonable prices, like the price for eating there. We had no more space to enjoy desserts, but coffee is also very good. Plenty of spaces around there to park the car. Overall, if you plan the visit the fortress, consider to park in the village (called Hône): the fort is 10 minutes away by walk, and you may enjoy finding restaurant...

Servizio cortese, ma cibo mediocre e poca chiarezza riguardo ai prezzi: mi è stato proposto di sostituire il dolce previsto nel menu ma per la sostituzione è stato applicato un sovrapprezzo di 3 euro; per due dita di amaro chiesto a parte, invece, il costo è stato di 5 euro. Peccato, non mi sento di consigliarlo.

**In risposta a quanto scritto dal titolare: non si tratta di quanto io abbia mangiato dato che il menu aveva un costo di partenza di 23 euro - prezzo ovviamente fissato da voi - e comprendeva antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce a cui aggiungere il coperto (1,5 euro) e il vino (di cui non conosco il costo in quanto mi è stata rilasciata la sola ricevuta del pagamento pos, senza scontrino dettagliato). Quello che mi è stato comunicato a voce quando ho espresso le mie perplessità sul totale del conto è che, oltre a coperto e vino, erano stati aggiunti un sovrapprezzo per il cambio di dessert - cambio da voi proposto senza accennare in alcun modo ad un sovrapprezzo - e per l'amaro (5 euro, costo francamente esorbitante vista la quantità del medesimo). Ritengo quindi che il vostro sia un comportamento poco corretto, per non dire apertamente ingannevole, volto a "caricare" il conto a fronte di un prezzo di partenza del menu di sicuro ragionevole (ma del resto in linea con la qualità del cibo offerto, come già scritto piuttosto dozzinale). Di certo il vostro non rientra tra i ristoranti da promuovere e spero con la mia recensione di mettere in guardia i potenziali avventori, a cui consiglio caldamente...

Went for lunch. Prices are very reasonable. This is where all the locals come to eat and there is a friendly vibe. The staff are very friendly and kind and throw fun banter between themselves and the customers.

The interior is warm, cosy and welcoming.

The pizza I had was very good. Perfectly cooked with no burnt spots. There is a fine selection of pizzas with traditional ingredients from Val da'Aosta.
