La Ribotta — Restaurant in Imperia

I went here expecting some good Pizza but what I got was at most decent pizza. This happens and it's okay, but the service I received while in this establishment was horrific. First we had to wait quite a long time to get some INDOOR places. Just to see them put up more tables as soon as we had settled in. As we arrived at our table I was instantly disturbed by the loud YouTube Video that a guy next to us was watching on his smartphone. It was so loud that it almost drowned out all the other noises, produced by this complete crowed and overstrained restaurant. After some more waiting we were handed the card, followed by more waiting. After almost an hour we finally had our food. As I said it was decent except for the craft beer (it's Italy after all). While we stayed there about 3/4 of our request were either ignored or faked. When we were about to leave we asked the waiter to pack the rest of our pizza 2go. He told us he'd gladly do that. He came back with a empty Pizza box which he just laid on our table. Encouraged by this lovely proposal for a fun DIY project I had my full. We packed up and left....

Wir hatten uns spontan für das Restaurant entschieden, weil es von außen ansprechend aussah. Leider konnte der erste Eindruck nicht gehalten werden.

Dummerweise hatten wir uns wohl an einen Tisch gesetzt, der reserviert war (stand leider nichts erkennbares auf dem Tisch). Da hatten wir scheinbar schon verk...

Von einer jungen Dame wurden wir dann sehr schnell aufgefordert den Tisch zu verlassen und hetzte dann mit uns zwischen sämtlichen Tischen der Außenterrasse zu einem neuen Tisch. Dem "Katzentisch" des Restaurants, wie wir dann später feststellen mussten. Die junge Dame hatte weder ein freundliches Wort, noch ein Lächeln für uns übrig. Sie schien sehr genervt. Die Menü-Karten wurden uns genauso unfreundlich von ihr übergeben. Man kam sich hier nicht willkommen vor.

Wir warteten dann geduldig darauf, dass jemand kommt und unsere Bestellung aufnimmt. Kam aber keiner. Mit Handzeichen und Blickkontakt hatte ich mehrmals versucht auf uns aufmerksam zu machen, jedoch schaute man uns nicht einmal an!

Hinter uns setzte sich später eine große Gruppe (die hatten scheinbar vorher reserviert), die dann auch zeitnah nach Erhalt der Karte die Getränke bekam und die Essensbestellung aufgenommen werden konnte. Wir versuchten weiter auf uns aufmerksam zu machen. Der Kellner/Abräumer und was auch immer die Mitarbeiter für Aufgaben hatten waren immer so schnell wieder verschwunden, wie sie aufgetaucht sind.

Unsere Geduld ging dann nach ca. 40-50 Minuten endgültig verloren, als dann der 4. Tisch mit Leuten die nach uns Platz genommen hatten sein Essen bekam und wir noch nicht einmal eine Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Wir haben das Restaurant dann wieder verlassen.

Fazit: Mag sein, dass das Essen gut ist (wir wissen es leider nicht), aber auf Grund des Services = Nie wieder! Der eine Stern ist m.E. noch nicht...

Una pizza saporita, ma decisamente pesante e gommosa, accompagnata da un servizio maladucato e arrogante. Ma veniamo ai fatti. Decidiamo di provare la pizzeria con alcuni amici e prenotiamo per le 19.15 perchè dopo non c'era posto; nel momento della prenotazione ci viene detto che avremmo dovuto lasciare il tavolo entro le 20.30. Arriviamo al locale, ordiniamo chi le pizze, chi la carne, mangiamo e, alle 20.15, arriva la cameriera a chiederci se vogliamo il dolce. Alcuni di noi ordinano il dolce, che arriva praticamente alle 20.25. Mangiamo di corsa dato che i nuovi clienti stanno aspettando in piedi davanti alla cassa e mentre una di noi raccoglie i soldi del conto per risparmiare tempo, la cameriera porta via i piatti del dolce anche a chi non lo aveva ancora finito, ma era distratto nel prendere i soldi. Nel frattempo il cassiere/proprietario/cafone toglie la sedia da sotto al sedere ad uno dei miei amici per iniziare a preparare il tavolo per i clienti successivi. Cosa che avrebbe anche potuto causare una bella botta di schiena del mio amico. Finalmente andiamo verso la cassa, praticamente cacciati dal tavolo e quando la mia amica a cui è stato portato via mezzo dolce ha fatto notare la cosa, il cassiere/proprietario/cafone ha detto alla sua socia che erano affari nostri dato che non siamo stati abbastanza veloci a lasciare il tavolo (20.35). Dopo un altro commento simile riguardante il tempo che abbiamo impiegato a pagare, fortunatamente la serata si è conclusa in un pub della zona dove davvero sanno come trattare i clienti (Black Horse). Detto questo sconsigliamo il locale a tutti e soprattutto alle persone con poco autocontrollo che potrebbero avere l'istinto di grattarsi i palmi delle mani sugli zigomi del...
