Bar dell'Orologio — Restaurant in Ischia

We visited L’Orologio Cafe in Ischia and ordered two cappuccinos, two croissants, and one omelette. We were served by an incredible and professional waiter—a tall, super friendly guy who made us feel welcome and had a great attitude toward our family. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined by the hysterical manager, who complained about our 1.5-year-old daughter simply playing with a small bag of sugar, which fell on the floor. We don’t give our kids iPhones to play with, so it’s normal for them to engage with their surroundings. Wow - I read the review before this. I cant believe it is the same cafe. I went early this morning based on the review and the fact that the cage opened at 7am. I was the first person there. NO one else. I ordered a cappucino and a cornetto. The milk was not fresh milk the cornetto was like bread. The thing that irked me the most is that I asked to sit down and the response was -it will cost you extra. I know that this is common in Italy especially if it is busy but I found this really unrealistic and unnecssary at 7am. Wont be going back there again soon. Bar dell’Orologio in Ischia became a cherished part of our mornings during our stay. My wife and I, along with our two young sons, were welcomed with genuine kindness and warmth by the staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, creating a sense of home away from home. The caffe was exceptional, easily rivaling the best in Naples, and the food was consistently fresh and delicious.
