Ristorante Pizzeria da Raffaele — Restaurant in Ischia

Very good food, very good service. We were seated in a back room with no one else around which is a shame as we were celebrating my wife’s birthday…but that’s ok they didn’t know that. Service was fine, wine menu was forgotten and we had to flag them down. Everything was tasty. My only negative would be the portion sizes. We’ve been in Italy for 2 week and have been to Italy several times below. All the pasta dishes were a little empty. The kids had 2 bolognese which were, I had fettuccine ragu di polpo and wife had seafood spaghetti. All tasted very good. But experience would be a little better if they filled the dishes a little more, considering the prices are in line with other restaurants. Pizza was good.

I looked but couldn’t find the cover charge listed on my menu, which I believe was 2€ per person.

We also order a Vitello al Limone which they did not have so ordered a steak pizzaiolo… which again tasted good but was tiny. Fried calamari and shrimp again good but small. All in all good but would not return. If they just added a few more grams of pasta to fill out the dishes I’m sure the clients would appreciate and increase the ratings of...

This was the most crowded place in Ischia on January 2nd, we stopped by after a long walk to take a bite, seeing many people eating in here we thought it must be good. The staff was pretty ignorant, seeing that we're not Italian speaking customers, so the Italian guy that came after us had the priority and in front of my nose he took all the arancinis that were left, in two giant boxes. What was left over were croche and rotolo sandwiches, both were good but not our first choice. As serious Sicily lovers we took Cannolo and Cassata, the latter was too sweet to stand it but with amazing pastry on the bottom 🥲 and Cannolo is just good, but not like Sicilian. Overall a nice stop, but please, treat all the people the same, it's an island, you live...

Well,probably it does not look like a very luxury place but i can assure you that the food is very good. I have now been there 2 times,every time had something different and it was absolutly amazing! The pizza is something i have never been that lucky to eat. It was just perfect! The waitresses are so friendly and always recommended us the best food(always been happy with their recommendation) The prices are very fair. This is the restaurant where we spent just arround 30-35 €(2 persons dishes,wine of the house,a coke and 2 x desserts) and everywhere else we spent arround 45-50€ at least.
