Me and the missis went here for our anniversary, I had to book in advance before coming to Italy so I couldn’t call the restaurant and specify it’s a special occasion, however I got in touch by email and they kindly offered a romantic table on the beach (no extra charge). Vincenzo was waiting for us at the entrance ready to greet us in his amazing restaurant. Vincenzo’s knowledge on the dishes and the raw materials is just incredibly amazing, I could stay there hours just listening to the love of food and quality raw materials he have. And now food, food is a journey, is a swim in a sunny day, the taste was incredible, and at every taste we could feel the passion of these amazing chefs that worked for these dishes. I am a food passionate, eaten in hundreds of restaurants and markets also a chef but at the end of the dinner I couldn’t hold it no more, I cried, I cried because these people made me feel all the passion they have for food and at every bite I felt the work they put in everything they do. Il bed and breakfast ha prenotato 2 postazioni in spiaggia (2 ombrelloni e 4 lettini per un gruppo di 5 persone). Arrivati, abbiamo depositato i trolley e pagato 28 euro per ciascuna postazione. Il gestore, visto che eravamo in 5, ci ha obbligato ad acquistare il 5 lettino ad un costo di 15 euro. All'ora di pranzo ci siamo accorte che c'era un cartello che recitava "è assolutamente vietato introdurre cibi e bevande dall'esterno". Noi siamo uscite dal lido e siamo andate a comprare dei sandwich e 2 bottiglie d'acqua. Al ritorno ci è venuto incontro il padre del gestore il quale ci ha detto del divieto invitandoci a leggere il cartello. Allora io, irritatissima, gli ho risposto che era un cartello illegale e l'ho invitato ad esibirmi la legge che sanciva quanto scritto. Da quel momento silenzio assoluto. Alla fine della giornata, mentre andavamo via, ci è è stato detto che c'era una differenza di 14 euro da pagare perché i kit sarebbero costati 35 euro l'uno e non 28, prezzo di favore per il fatto che il dipendente del b&b avrebbe confermato che noi avremmo pranzato al ristorante del lido (cosa non vera). Comunque alla mia indignazione che avrei chiamato la GdF, il signore ha ammesso che avevo ragione rispetto al cartello esposto, e cioè che nulla è vietato, ma abbiamo pagato i 14 euro perché già aveva emesso lo scontrino. Ma se avessi riflettuto un attimo non li avrei pagati. Attenti, non lasciatevi imbrogliare, gli stabilimenti balneari non possono vietare di portarvi le consumazioni da casa. Non esiste nessuna legge. Ci provano e basta!

Segue chiarimento alla risposta del proprietario Carissimo sig. Vincenzo è stato molto fantasioso nella sua risposta, composta da tante esagerate inesattezze. Panini, rosticceria, bibite, immondizia...Se vuole essere sincero dica che abbiamo consumato un panino a testa e bevuto della semplice acqua e addirittura i rifiuti li abbiamo portati con noi e li abbiamo riposti nel contenitore dell'immondizia della strada, non dando ombra di fastidio al suo stabilimento nemmeno per questo motivo. Dove ho casa al mare, e cioè Sperlonga, sono previste 4 persone sotto ogni postazione e non 10 (io non l'ho mai detto). Girare e rigirare i lettini? Lei dovrebbe creare spazio tra le postazioni invece sono così vicine tra loro da non consentire nemmeno privacy tra persone che non si conoscono. Inoltre, la prima fila è quasi in acqua senza rispetto per le regole sul bagnasciuga. Ma di cosa vogliamo parlare? Capisco che lei voglia impressionare i lettori del web, ma ora capisco perché solo lei, in tutta Ischia Porto, aveva postazioni libere. Prima di arrivare a lei abbiamo chiamato altri stabilimenti, ma purtroppo tutti sold out. Si ponga allora una domanda. E poi, sul traghetto di ritorno, per puro caso mi sono trovata a parlare con delle persone che, allo stesso modo, hanno avuto in passato un'esperienza negativa con il suo staff. Auguro di cuore a lei buone vacanze, in modo sincero, anzi mi auguro che lei possa modificare alcuni atteggiamenti e consentire ai suoi clienti di scegliere secondo la legge, senza cartelli che impongano i divieti di cui abbiamo discusso (i divieti vanno accompagnati da una didascalia recante i riferimenti di legge che li impongono). An horrible experience. We’ve been literally forced to order fresh fish, they didn’t show a menu or gave us any other choice. That was obviously the most expensive dish. Then, we had very small portions of pasta with some fish aside, tasting like boiled, and then we had fish cooked in oven, again overcooked, again a small portion, with some hard like stone sliced potato. Eventually, we've paid around 70 each. I'm not complaining about the prices, which is normal for the location, but about the quality and quantity which were incredibly low for the price.
