Il Portico Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Isthintini/Stintino

We chose this restaurant because we wanted pizza, meat and some seafood. When we came in, there were about 3-4 waiters standing in a row, who ignored us, so we sat down at a place by the window. At that time, they noticed us and said that we couldn't go there because it was reserved. I should point out that every table, whether inside or outside, was reserved. So they sat us at the very back where there wasn't even a fan, it was terribly hot, against the wall. When we arrived, there were about 3-4 tables that were occupied out of 40 tables. Yes, behind us, maybe 2-3 had reservations. The others could be seen coming from the street and were Italians, so they seated everyone either outside or by the window, telling them that everything was taken, despite the fact that they arrived later, they seated them in those reserved places. They seated us and another family who spoke English in the worst place, where it was terribly hot. The food we ordered was brought within 10 minutes. When we finished eating, they ignored us, we couldn't pay, we waited about 20-30 minutes, until a wizard we approached came to us and said he had to ask, he moved the pizza from the plate to the box on the spot so much that it almost fell into the little one's lap. Worst experience we have had in all of Italy, with zero service. It took us 20 minutes to even get water, we had to go into the kitchen to ask someone to give us water. Everyone else had water and bread. No one took our order for 30 minutes and we again had to go and ask someone if we could order. The waiter taking orders was only taking them from the Italians and locals and ignoring us. After we ordered, we waited an hour for our food. One hour later we asked several waitresses if our food was coming and they said it will be here soon. 20 minutes later it didn't come so we went to the kitchen to find out. The head waiter was horrible to us, he said "you came late, sorry you're so perfect", we asked if we could just pay for our water and we will leave now. We refused to let us pay, and said we should keep waiting, and we had to insist. He also tried to put his hands on me and grab me and I stepped back. I don’t even know where to start with my review!! We spotted accidentally this gem In the little town and since then we come to eat here every day! If you like steak try “filetto di manzo al peppe” 😻😻 OMG!! It’s total foodporn!! Not to talk about the seafood pasta, which I tried in a lot of places but here it was one of the best! We tried the seafood starter platter as well and it was beautiful dish with lots of taste! And the service is amazing! Loved all the staff, everyone super friendly!!!
