The most horrible sushi I have had so far in Europe, I had tried 7 or 8 sushi restaurants in Italy including all you can eat, they were mostly ok, one was good, but this one is beyond bad, it's so bad that even my kids refused to eat...don't waste your money honestly! Also the choices are very limited...i know it's in a good location but bad foods make me want to puke, their portions are way too big so after a bite trying n it was not editable, the whole plate of food goes to waste, but guess what, they want to charge you for that too, it makes me feel bad enough about wasting foods but worse that I have to pay for extra for bad foods! I explained to the cashier that the foods were bad n we tried different dishes but didn't finish it, so she was upset with my honest opinion, I told her since we have to pay more than 100 euros and we were hungry, of cos we have to eat some sushi and sashimi, we would have ate double than what we ordered if it was good, instead I just ate salmon sashimi mainly since nothing else I liked, but even that the salmon was not good or fresh, quality is low thats all, filling the sushi with cucumber and rice n place a tiny salmon on top is just bad.
Although service was fast but we left even faster!! Seriously anyone who has a normal taste bug won't like the foods they serve, I was deceived by the high rating (4.2?!) here, we also went to Koi for all you can eat, their rating was only 3 something and they were much better, much smaller portions to try out different foods, more variety, not everything was good but sushi and sashimi were fine, I would rather go there again! and they didn't charge us for anything left over, we ordered two cooked dishes and they were not nice, they were large portion too so we left a lot but they...
Read moreFirst time dining at a Sushi restaurant so this is not an expert's review. Enjoyed the three dish Sushi lunch menu option (alternatives included Fish option and Meat option) and a glass of wine (Total was €15, including Gratuity). Loved the really fresh salad, and also the pasta with sea fish, freshly cooked and generously speckled with fish elements. The final dish was a sushi selection, which were fresh and tasty to my uneducated palate. Everything was obviously prepared with fresh ingredients and served quickly. So, I enjoyed the food, and thought the portion sizes adequate. The ambience was bright, relaxing and calm although there were steps to gain access from the street. The wine was a delight and there were plenty of choices! The portion was modest but adequate. However, I did not like sitting in a sort of pit on connected plastic bucket seats, with waiters serving from the level of the chairs! (Shoes far too near the food!) I was welcomed by a scowling young oriental man but I just overlooked his rudeness. Who knows what wars he was battling that day!? Would I return? Probably not! Was it value for money? Certainly yes! Did I enjoy the food? I...
Read moreWorst all you can eat I have ever tried. The price was way too high compared to the limited selection of dishes and to access the online menu we were forced to connect to the local Wi-Fi, which was a bit annoying for safety reasons. Moreover, we asked for two forks and both of them were served directly by hand without a napkin/plate, making it unsanitary. Lastly, the waiting time between each order was too long compared to all of the other sushi restaurants I have tried and the staff was a bit impolite. I wouldn’t...
