Got a margerita pizza (and added onions, highly recommend). It was 5.50 euros, perfectly thin crispy dough that didn’t get soggy. Tons of Vespa deliveries happening while we were eating, clearly somewhere the locals love. No joke, my favorite pizza I’ve had after a month in Italy. And it was the cheapest. Situata a La Maddalena, Speedy Pizza è una scelta ideale per chi cerca una pizza gustosa servita con rapidità e cortesia. Il nome non mente: il servizio è davvero veloce, ma senza sacrificare la qualità. Le pizze vengono cotte nel forno a legna, dettaglio non scontato che si sente già al primo morso: impasto ben lievitato, croccante al punto giusto e farciture generose. Il menù è vario, con proposte classiche e qualche opzione più creativa. Il personale è gentile e disponibile (nota di merito per la cassiera, che dovrebbe essere anche la proprietaria, veramente una bella persona), pronto a consigliare anche chi è alla prima visita. L'atmosfera del locale (anche se ha pochi posti a sedere) è gradevole, informale ma curata e l’asporto è velocissimo. I prezzi sono giusti per la qualità offerta: una pizza ben fatta e cotta nel forno a legna, in un contesto accogliente, vale sicuramente quello che si paga. Rating Pizzerias is always a matter of personal taste. Having tried 4 different places, i definitely like Speedy the best. Wonderful base and tasty toppings. Really delicious. Just don’t show up before 19h as things only get started in the kitchen before then 😀 Best tasting Pizza...
