If you were to put this restaurant in Rome or Milan, there would be a waitlist to get in for months to come. The quality of service provided by Fabio tonight was far superior than most restaurants in Italy. The wine service was spot on of what I have received at a 3 star Joel Robuchon restaurant in the past. Ristorantino nel fantastico centro storico di Lanciano. Più che una taverna è un vero e proprio ristorante, vi troverete all'interno di un locale bellissimo con le volte a vista. L'accoglienza viene fatta, credo dal proprietario, in maniera maniacale. Ordiniamo antipasti e primi/secondi, dopo qualche minuto arrivano gli antipasti, 2 sauté cozze e vongole con poco sapore soprattutto il sughetto che lasciano cozze e vongole. Passiamo ai primi arrivati no. Proprio velocemente e con i condimenti non legati tra loro ma con una buona qualità di materia prima. I vini sono ottimi essendo anche enoteca, noi abbiamo bevuto un Villa Gemma di Masciarelli davvero ottimo. Chicca finale del proprietario che a fine pasto per eliminare il profumo di pesce dalle mani dei commensali spruzza una fragranza preparata da lui! Fantastico!
