My family and I went here because it was next door to the place we stayed. Out of all the places we ate in Italy, this was the most expensive, and worst of all, the food wasn't even that good. The price to quality ratio wasn't there. I ordered the dish of the day thinking it was helping to be cheaper. It wasn't. My father asked for a dish that was for 2, they did not take the time to explain this to him. I love medium rare meat, but the rest of my family doesn't. I would have liked that they asked them about it before serving it medium rare. My meat had way too greasy parts for my liking. My dad's ribs were the same. I don't dislike a bit of grease on meat, but I dislike it when there is way too many. I left feeling disappointed on what we paid vs what we received

Our last Italian meal with my brother his wife, my beautiful wife and the family that gave us an unforgettable vacation, Lorenzo, Robert, and Sylvia. Very large portion and just say the word and truffles are all over your food! An artists work covers the walls while you get to enjoy fine cuisine and drink the wine from the nearby wineries. I am not usually a fan of Tiramisu but I have never had it homemade in Italy before. It is a must. The meat is very red and rare but so full with flavor. Go light on the pasta, not that it isn't fantastic but you have to save room for the meat. Enjoy and mangia mangia!

We didn't understand what the reason why the waitress was so unpleasant with us was: if it's because we didn't order any wine or because we spoke a foreign language between us. Anyway, we certainly won't go back!!! First, we noticed everyone had Sardinian bread on their table. When we asked for some to eat with our 3 ham dishes, we were told there wasn't anymore. One minute later we noticed there was Sardinian bread on an empty table next to us and that the waitress took it to another table. We ordered fried thin potatoes and we received baked ones instead (without an explanation!). I might not be a Fiorentina expert but the meat was overburnt outside and without any dressing: no salt, no taste. We asked for an additional bottle of water but the waitress forgot to bring one. When, at least 5 minutes later, we asked her colleague, she, herself, took one from the same empty table and, annoyed, nearly threw it at us, as we were bothering her. We felt we didn't want to stay there any longer and simply went to pay for our bill and rush out of there. Definitely not a place...

I wanted to love this place, especially since we had to go way out of our way to dine in there, but I simply couldn't. Apparently, this is the best bistecca fiorentina there. We didn't find it to be true. The meat was very bland and burned, some parts had unpleasant taste. May be they save the best pieces to locals and feed worst and old cuts to Americans, i don't know. We dined at a few other restaurants in Florence, and the steak in all of them was much tastier than at this place. Couldn't wait to finish our meal and got out of there quick, fast, and in a hurry. Will never come back and will not...
