Il Timone — Restaurant in Lavagna

Unfortunately it's mandatory to ratw the establishment 1 star to start writing the review, I would love to rate it 0! Starting with the extremely rude waitress that didn't even bother to tell us the 'specials' (not a language barrier because , even though we don't speak Italian we can understand it) we just became aware of them when we overheard she saying to the table right next to ours. I ordered a glass of white wine and she didn't give me a wine glass, just another water glass (and they do have wine glass, as I could see at the table next to ours ). For starters we ordered the octopus, which had a strongish smell but I let it go, thinking it was me that had already a bad impression of the place. But hubby ordered pasta with octopus and was so good that he ate the pasta and left the octopus aside... I ordered a seabass that originally were meant to come with potatoes, I asked if they could be replaced with other vegetables and she said yes, but still it came with potatoes and I just couldn't be bothered to send it back, so I ate my overcooked small portion of fish and left the potatoes aside. Terrible experience.. cannot recommend enough to not go there. No excuses for a restaurant nearly in front of the ocean to not have fresh seafood (that would've might overcome the bad...

Come già ho scritto in altre recensioni ho Casa a Lavagna da quasi 30 anni e qui vivo in famiglia i momenti di relax che il tempo tiranno mi concede

Sono stato un gran mangiatore di Carne con predilezione per il filetto comunque cotto

Ormai da molti anni solo in alcune occasioni e in particolari ristoranti mangio carne

Cerco e seleziono I ristoranti dove si mangia pesce di stagione

In particolare adoro le acciughe e i fritti.... Ma se non devo fare troppa fatica con le spine....sono pigro....mi piace tutto

In questo bel ristorante che frequento con piacere da anni tutto è piacevole...

Il Titolare è simpatico...l'ambiente piacevole e rilassante....Tutto quello che proviene dal mare ottimo e soprattutto cucinato in modo giusto senza voler essere originali a tutti i costi...

Questo è fondamentale....altrimenti non si gusta il mare ma i sapori inseriti spesso a forza nell cucinare

Ho mangiato in anni tutto e mai deluso

Come sempre mi raccomando per il vino...I vini particolari costano molto anche ai ristoratori.....Se siete esperti e pronti a pagare...liberi....Altrimenti lasciatevi aiutare...Avrete ottimo vino...adatto ai piatti che avete scelto a prezzi convenienti

Ho indicato anche qui alcuni piatti perché così chiede il Sistema...ma andate sicuri...scegliete secondo il vostro gusto...sarete pienamente soddisfatti.
