1918 Ristorante - Pizza Gourmet — Restaurant in Lerici

During my recent visit to this restaurant, I was thoroughly impressed by several aspects that made the experience memorable. Firstly, the food was excellent and of very high quality. I am very disappointed by my visit though the location in the piazza is lovely. My partner did not want a starter. However, when my starter arrived, they brought his main (a pizza) at the same time! When I said , no, we both want our pizzas at the same time the waitress was mist distressed and returned saying that her boss said" if we don't eat it now it would have to be thrown away" - not my problem!! Bring both our pizzas together... after a long wait, both pizzas arrived - quality just OK, nothing special, very wide and thick crust which was a bit burnt. When it came to deset we asked for the menu, waitress went off (would presumably return with menus) however 10 minutes later another (nice and helpfull) waitress asked if we would like desert, told her we were allready waiting for the menu when she informed me that their was not one and listed the avaliable options to us, thanks but what was the first waitress thinking of??? A non rivederci!

Optiamo per il 1918 per concludere una splendida giornata a lerici. Ci accomodiamo , locale molto curato e di classe. Ordiniamo due crudi di mare ed una grigliata mista di pesce , tempi di preparazione ottimi , in 6 minuti i piatti sono al tavolo , la qualità del prodotto ittico c’è! Nulla da ridire se non fosse che durante il consumo del piatto , noto un vermiciattolo nel piatto dei crudi di mare ( normalissimo vermiciattolo delle ostriche, nulla di pericoloso) tuttavia, un po’ schifato indico il problema al personale di sala ,che portano il piatto in cucina, il personale di sala torna al tavolo per giusticarsi che … può capitare che ogni tanto siano presenti parassiti nelle ostriche( il che è assolutamente vero, buon indice della naturalezza del prodotto) , senza scusarsi ma ripeto quasi per “giustificare il fatto”. Nel mentre arriva la grigliata . Buona , ma non indimenticabile, chiediamo il conto ed un caffè, dopo 15 minuti, nessuno ci calcola , dunque mi alzo per andare a pagare in cassa (senza il caffè richiesto 15 minuti prima) non ci calcolano nemmeno quando siamo in piedi di fronte alla cassa. Arrivato il momento del conto , il totale è di 110€ ( prezzo in linea tutto sommato , 60€ due crudi di mare va più che bene , la qualità del pesce era buona , le ostriche tuttavia anche a livello di sapore non erano affatto buone ) . Come non fosse successo nulla , se mi avessero riportato un altra ostrica, o il restante crudo che non ho mangiato (2 gamberi , 1 scampi, due sashimi di tonno e branzino) avrei gradito , poiché l’ho pagato e non consumato , oppure un piccolo sconto per il disguido, avrei senza dubbio capito la situazione. Torniamo verso casa scontenti e con una brutta serata alle spalle. P.s. l’entree che vi offrono appena seduti è un crostino di pane con un’ alicetta marinata una fetta di pomodorino e della maionese orrenda , mi ha fatto tornare in Mente quando tornati da una serata completamente ubriaco metti insieme quello che trovi , a dir poco disgustoso.
