Il Fagolo — Restaurant in Lerici

2 and half hours to be served. Ok the waitress was friendly but the food was simply so and so. We waited 30 minutes to get the order. Another 20 to get 1 antipasti. The primi (starter) arrived 30 minutes later. The pasta was so under cook that would have made even a Roman to send back the plate. But we were staving by then. The secondo arrived 40 after. The fish was over cooked and then we had to wait 5 minutes to get a tartare. To summarised good is ok. But the kitchen is wrong. For 100 euros for 2 we would expect a way more or at least to apology...

My girlfriend and I had dinner there 1 week ago and the overall experience was extremely good. Location is picturesque and food delicious. Even the environment music was spot on ( a playlist made from a selection of Mina's song). I personally believe this restaurant is not miles away from deserving a mention in the Michelin Guide. Only thing worth improving could be the time needed to be served, which is a bit long, given that the whole restaurant is run by only two people (the cook and a waiter). Il locale è in una posizione privilegiata in uno dei carruggi di Lerici e noi abbiamo cenato sotto un arco in pietra, creando quindi i presupposti per un atmosfera suggestiva e romantica. Il servizio è stato però non all'altezza, facendoci aspettare decisamente troppo, dimenticandosi il pane ed anche il caffè della ragazza che era con me. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere un paio di volte. Questo in parte è stato compensato dalla gentilezza e dalla bellezza di una della cameriere. Il cibo (uno spaghetto con le vongole ed i Taglioni al nero di seppia con le vongole) erano straordinari del punto di vista del sapore con un sughetto ben bilanciato e gustosissimo. La mia amica ha preso anche un buon calice di bianco. Anche l'antipasto di mare merita per il contrasto di sapori tra i vari assaggini. Purtroppo sia per il primo che per l'antipasto le porzioni erano insufficienti. Il mio dolce (frolla con crema e frutta) era sicuramente molto delicato ed anche la quantità era adeguata. Al contrario il sorbetto al limone non è piaciuto alla mia amica ma l'ho assaggiato anche io ed a me è piaciuto. I prezzi secondo me un po' troppo alti (72 euro) per quello che...
