Croce del Sud — Restaurant in Lignano Sabbiadoro

Pessimo servizio!! Ci ha servito un certo Stefano se non ricordo male. Ci ha buttato le posate sul tavolo, una volta ordinato mi strappato il menu dalle mani. In piu continuava ad andare avanti e indietro fra i tavoli lamentandosi di "tre handicappati" (presumo si riferisse a dei colleghi). Commento comunque molto inopportuno da fare in mezzo alla sala fra tutti i clienti. Se devi lamentarti vai dove i clienti non ti sentono o stattene direttamente a casa, senza venire a lavoro con certi atteggiamenti e attitudine. Cibo mediocre, si puo trovare sicuramente di meglio. Prima e ultima volta che ci metto piede.

Worst customer service ever!! If I recall right we got served by a certain "Stefano". He got there and literally threw the cutlery on the table, once he took our order he grabbed the menu off my hands in a rough way. Moreover he kept walking up and down between the tables whinging about 3 other "handicapped people" ( which I figured out were some of his colleagues). In any case that's not the right moment or place to make such a comment. If you not happy about your colleagues go somewhere on the back of the restaurant or just stay at your own home and not come to work with such an attitude and behavior. Food was mediocre. Definitely you can find better quality. First and last time I'll walk...

Short answer: I think everyone should go and eat here at least once during their vacation.

Long answer: As someone who has worked in a restaurant before, I have nothing but respect for the employees of this place. Everything we ate tasted amazing (we went 4 times during our holiday) and the service was fast. I was especially impressed with the speed because the restaurant is usually so full in the evenings, that there is a line to get in. Even so everything feels and tastes fresh and is ready fairly quickly. Were there some small mistakes? Yes. But I am not gonna nitpick on it. (In case you are interested in what kind of things I mean: It is nice to get a bowl for the empty shells of the clams, but if you get that bowl only after you already had half of your food, it is also okay, you can stack the shells at the edge of your plate. No big deal.) The only thing we couldn't figure out if the limoncello was supposed to be in the coperto or not, because we have gotten some twice for free and didn't get some the other two visits. Coperto was around 4 euros for the two of us. It entails more than in most restaurants (Grissini, olive oil, Parmesan) but since I am not sure that it is always the same, just let yourself be surprised...

This Restaurant is incredible, the food not only looks very great (so if you wanna post on social media, this is the perfect place) but it also tastes sooo good. they have a huge variety of food and its all freshly made (for example the fries/potatoes are fresh and not frozen made) they also have very tasty and aesteticly pleasing desserts. Also my favourite part is that they serve candy/gummybears with the dessert and some lemon sorbet for free (the candy is VERYYYY good, like the best gummies ever, they are very chewy and just of good quality) we had to wait a little long for the waiters to take our order but who can judge them it must be very stressful, but besides that we got our food pretty quickly afterwards. it was a great experience and you really shouldn't miss out on this restaurant if you...
