This small, kiosk style restaurant serves up solid seafood. The concise menu offers a good selection of seafood antipasti and grilled mains. Whilst the orders are placed at the counter, the food is served to the table when dining in.

The mains are grilled fresh to order on the stove top. The grilled calamari were tender and flavorful, and the side of vegetables were well cooked. Sadly, the cold potato octopus was disappointing: the octopus was a bit chewy and the salad as a whole lacked in seasoning.

I am so glad I found this place on our last day in Italy. It's a small restaurant on the side street. In una Lignano ormai dominata da posti turistici, questo piccolo angolo di cucina take away riesce a distinguersi per la sua semplicità e per l’incredibile attenzione alla materia prima. Non aspettatevi il servizio al tavolo: qui si ordina, si prende il proprio piatto e ci si siede a uno dei tavoli all’aperto, godendosi l’aria e la compagnia. E va benissimo così.

Il pesce è cucinato con rispetto: ogni piatto racconta freschezza, tecnica e passione. La grigliata mista è un must, ma meritano anche il panino con i gamberi o quello con il polpo, perfetti per una cena informale o un ricco aperitivo.
