Ristorante Pizzeria Le Rose — Restaurant in Lotzorai

What can we say. We arrived doubtful we would even get a spot as the night before they were fully booked so we were prepared to get pizzas takeaway. But it was my girlfriend's birthday so we were hopeful. We asked them in passing if a table was available and they said yes! But we'd already brought with us an open bottle of wine assuming takeaway pizza was our only option. We asked them if we could drink it, fully assuming the answer would be no, but as it was my girlfriend's birthday they said the boss had said yes! We sat down, and then proceeded to have 2 AMAZING seafood pasta dishes, a huge grilled platter of fish, and of course more wine. The service was LOVELY. One of the servers even did a little dance and sung her happy birthday. Everyone was super smiley, and kind. HIGHLY recommend their marinara pizza as well that we enjoyed far too much the night before with a few take away beers...

Bis zum letzten Jahr war Stefano mit seiner Crew noch am Strand von Lotzorai, für die neue Saison sind sie umgezogen, weiter ins Dorf. Jetzt in schönen hellen neuen Räumen direkt am/im Hotel Ogliastra in der via Dante. Und dieser Umzug ist wahrlich keine Verschlechterung, schönes Lokal und angenehmer Außenbereich. Die Speisen weiterhin in toller Qualität, meiner Meinung nach sogar eine Spur verbessert. Es gibt weiterhin Pizzen, Pasta, Fisch/Fleischgerichte, aber auch Vegetarier kommen hier nicht zu kurz. Der Service wie immer vorbildlich und mit Herz und Seele bei der Sache. Mir persönlich gefällt es sehr gut das es jetzt eine größere Bierauswahl gibt (derzeit Flaschenbiere aber Fassbier soll auch bald kommen) so konnte ich erstmals das sardische „Dolmen“ probieren.

Rundum zufrieden kann ich einen Besuch nur empfehlen, wenn es doch mal einen Kritikpunkt gibt – ansprechen, hilft immer ;-)
