Ristorante Trattoria Skipper — Restaurant in Lucca

Absolutely delicious seafood at a lovely restaurant, tucked away in a beautiful corner of the Tuscan hills. We had the seafood spaghetti, fish and potato stuffed ravioli in a cheese sauce, herb risotto and roast potatoes and a salad as sides. Everything was absolutely delicious and the seafood as fresh as anything. The risotto was a child's portion (apparently) but we ended up sharing it with our ten month old. She loved it as much as us. The service was excellent from everyone, the waiters, the manager and even the guy who cleaned the tables were all super friendly and accommodated our hopeless attempts at Italian. The restaurant is rather simple. When we visited, it was very busy with locals, which speaks volumes for the cuisine. And it really has it all. Although the menus are simple, they are prepared with extremely fresh ingredients. You can feel the owner's passion for his dishes. You can't complain about the quantity either. If you're not very hungry, you should definitely only order one course. For us it was a very worthwhile visit and we can only warmly recommend the restaurant to all lovers of fish and seafood.

ATENCIÓN TURISTAS, NO IR! Servicio nefasto!! Se creen que por qué eres de fuera te pueden engañar. Fuimos hace un día, ponían carteles del menú y cuando nos sentaron en la mesa quitaron los carteles, aún así lo reclamos y lo trajeron. Solo nos tomaron nota del primer plato cuando reclamamos los segundos nos dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada y no los podían poner... increíble! nunca me había pasado algo así! Para colmo nos querían cobrar los primero platos del menú como si fueran de carta. Yo había venido ha Italia hace algunos años y no tenía la sensación de que fueran así de estafadores, lo peor de todo es que te vas con la sensación de que te quieren engañar. DESDE LUEGO QUE NO VOLVERIA A COMER ALLI JAMÁS!

ATTENZIONE TURISTI, NON ANDATE! Servizio disastroso!! Credono che, poiché sei esterno, possono ingannarti. Siamo andati un giorno fa, hanno messo le locandine del menù e quando ci hanno fatto sedere al tavolo hanno tolto le locandine, anche così lo abbiamo reclamato e ce lo hanno portato. Hanno preso nota del primo solo quando abbiamo reclamato i secondi, ci hanno detto che la cucina era chiusa e non potevano metterli... incredibile! Non mi è mai successo! Per finire hanno voluto farci pagare i primi piatti del menù come se fossero alla carta.
