Pizzeria Ai Vogaor — Restaurant in Malcesine

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. My partner and I walked in hoping for a nice meal, but the experience was ruined by incredibly rude service. An older lady began to take our order, and when I asked about the dish I had chosen (to check what side dishes could go with the fish), she sighed loudly, clicked something on the screen, and walked away without saying anything.

I called after her, saying I hadn’t finished ordering yet and wasn’t sure what to choose — the menu was huge and hard to navigate. She turned around and said it was too late because the order had already been sent to the kitchen. As she was walking away, she added, “You will eat just the fish,” as if that settled it.

When I tried to explain that I hadn’t confirmed anything, she suddenly started yelling at me in Italian. The whole interaction felt extremely tense. She sighed repeatedly while standing over us and acted like serving us was a burden.

We decided to leave and politely said thank you, but she kept shouting at us as we walked out. It was an extremely uncomfortable and stressful situation. Definitely not a place I would return to or...

Average restaurant and prices comparable with much better restaurants..very average food, nothing really special or yummy...without taste or flavour ..we’ve been in Italy many times and ate much much better food for the same prices.. restaurant has nice lake view but that’s all..also waiters are so so..they don’t seem to be motivated to make you feel like valuable guest... Overall if you are really really hungry and don’t have the time to find better place then stay there...Otherwise look somewhere else for much...

Solid place next to the lake, not much else around there so that's a plus, food (pizza, salad) was pretty ok, view is good, service could be a bit more friendly though. We kind of had a bit of a cold start with not one but two of the waitresses the third one was friendly then. I could imagine this would be a good place to stop for a refreshment on a bike trip, but as said a bit disappointed with some of the employees. Prices are fair in my opinion, would say average...
