I believe that I have never left a negative review of a business I visited, and I have been to many places around the world.
This time, I will deviate from my usual out of a moral duty to any reader who might be harmed.
My story is not about the quality of the restaurant, which I also have feedback on, but about the staff itself. We stayed at the nearby hotel, a couple with three children on vacation, and decided to visit the restaurant for breakfast.
By mistake, which is entirely ours, we forgot the bag with all our money, quite a lot of money, that was meant to support us throughout the vacation, at the restaurant. While we were at the restaurant, there were no other customers, only us and two staff members, one of whom is the owner. About half an hour later, the staff found the bag and kept it near the cash register so that no one else could access it.
When we returned to ask for our bag, it was completely emptied of all our money.
When we tried to clarify what happened with the owner of the place, she very strangely did not take any responsibility for the incident. I requested the guest list of those who visited that morning (since every guest is recorded in an organized list in advance, as we did), but she refused to share it.
When the police arrived, I felt as if I were the criminal in the story, and I was dismissed from the place in complete humiliation. We had to cut our holiday short after just one day. And the bag, which was filled with money until the staff’s "handling" of it, was left empty, along with deep feelings of distress, shame, and a terrible sense of humiliation for us parents, and the children, who couldn’t understand why we had to end the vacation so quickly.
Behind every business are people who represent the character of the place.
this place is not a place you want to take a risk and visit.

Read moreI’m writing this to warn others about a serious and disturbing experience I had at this restaurant. I accidentally left my bag on the chair after breakfast. The bag was found by the restaurant manager immediate after we left and was placed behind the bar. When I returned afterward, the bag was still there — but all of my money had been stolen from inside. A lot of money !! They basically emptied my wallet.
There were no other customers in the area at the time, and the restaurant was empty. The only people who had access during that time were the staff. Unfortunately, this leads to the clear conclusion that someone from the staff took it.
I reported the situation immediately, but the staff showed zero responsibility, no intention to investigate, and no willingness to help. The entire situation was handled dismissively.
This is not just disappointing — it’s a complete violation of basic trust. If you’re considering eating here, be extremely careful with your belongings. I would strongly advise others to avoid this...

She received us very aggressively shunning our ask for a table in a more than half empty restaurant because we had “no reservation”, then she limited our options to like 3 items though we were there like an HOUR before closing time (9pm). Then she proceeded to prance around the floor for 20 min despite us politely asking for our order to be taken from her unhelpful staff (who are only allowed to bring water and walk around uselessly) as she served l tables herself or took more orders (as if tables with reservations pay MORE than those without reservations?) … before asking us for what we want to have at 9:20, while we sat waiting for her with 2 hungry kids. We asked for the bill and she proceeded to sermoning us about her strategy for customer disservice. When we asked for the bill again and she continued preaching us about her poor etiquette, we stood and l left without looking back. Horrible experience. Very sad. Needs serious hotel...
