Listen - I've travelled this whole region for years and it's hard to find a restaurant that tries to capture the simplicity of the Puglia cuisine with new ideas.

We had antipasti, primo, secondo e dolce - and each one was unique in it's flavour; capturing that "tang" flavour in some dishes as well, but overall delicious.

The sorbetto was the right amount and even had mandarin flavour.

Very courteous service and chef nailed it.

Had excellent food and service here following our first visit. We had been recommended this restaurant by friends and along with another couple both tried this restaurant for the first time.

Service was prompt yet relaxed. Food excellent, some dishes I'd not seen locally before so it was very nice to try new things. The fish too seemed to have more than the usual bass and bream.

Sono stata recentemente in questo ristorante, attratto dalle recensioni positive e dal menu AIC dove ho apprezzato l’elevata competenza. Purtroppo, l’esperienza non è stata del tutto soddisfacente. Ho ordinato un piatto di orecchiette alla crudaiola, ma il pomodoro risultava eccessivamente amaro, compromettendo il bilanciamento dei sapori. Ho cercato di esprimere educatamente il mio disappunto, non tanto per ottenere qualcosa in cambio, ma perché credo che il feedback sia importante per migliorare.

Purtroppo, né lo chef né il personale hanno mostrato interesse a indagare sulla questione, limitandosi a rimanere sulla difensiva. Un peccato davvero, perché la cucina può avere delle ottime potenzialità, ma l’accoglienza e la disponibilità a comprendere il cliente sono altrettanto fondamentali, soprattutto per chi ha a cuore l’esperienza dei turisti. Può capitare a chiunque un piatto sbagliato. Riconoscerlo non è un reato.

Sono certa che con un po’ più di attenzione e apertura, potrebbero davvero trasformare questo locale in un punto di riferimento per chi cerca una cucina di qualità. Quanto accaduto non rende giustizia a un territorio che da troppo tempo ormai meriterebbe una riqualificazione degna del...
