Gringo Tapas e Social Drink — Restaurant in Melendugno

We stayed in San Foca for 2 nights, and as a surprise the village is so super lively and Gringo makes it just the cherry on top. We arrived late in the evening so took a stroll alongside the riviera, not thinking there is anything going on at 00:00 o’clock, instead it was packed with people walking, drinking coffee, beer, having a laugh, families gathered together. All in all very pleasant atmosphere.

We had drinks the first night, all fresh made fruity cocktails and super tasty wine. The 2nd night we went back because of the service provided by Matilde, a great spirit and amazing young lady. She was very polite and super friendly, made a huge effort in explaining all around Gringo and the food and drinks we ordered.

Friendly staff, fresh food, fresh drinks, amaaaazinngg music, just a nice chill lounge. Would definitely recommend.

We were offered shots on the house before we left. Super happy to have met Matilde.

Abbiamo visitato questo luogo molto particolare dove per leggere il menù bisogna scansionare il QRCode. Ricco di cocktail particolari, prezzi accessibili ma comunque un po’ altini per i cocktail più ricercati rispetto alla quantità servita, porzione di patatine artigianali e Nacho abbondanti ma con poche salse, scarse di gusto. Abbiamo faticato a finirle per questo, sostanzialmente abbiamo pagato 10€ (6 e 4€) per patatine semplici, con meno di una spruzzata di guacamole e salse piccanti tipiche.. Avrei preferito trovare nel menù anche altre bevande come spritz, vino e cose meno elaborate, più semplici.. Sono sicura ci fossero state, probabilmente bastava chiedere, ma tutto così virtuale e Smart si rischia di perdere il contatto. Il servizio top niente da dire, ma zero contatto o quasi, anche per spiegarci eventuali composizioni dei cocktail.. siamo stati soddisfatti ma manca qualcosina. Esperienza carina, ma non so...
