GREAT FOOD POOR SERVICE The blond woman other reviewers mention as arrogant has a VERY BAD ATTITUDE! The food and ambiance were fantastic at this restaurant. Make sure to try the pasta with pistachio pesto and shrimp. The fish wellington and other dishes were also great along with the homemade breads they bring to the table. We dined here twice and found it to be great BESIDES the service. We speak Italian so language was not a barrier. The same blond woman other reviewers mention was displeasing and arrogant was the manager and only person to take orders both nights - we found her to be the same way. She was VERY UNFRIENDLY. Both nights, she did not offer to mention to us that there were off menu special dishes. The second night I figured this out because she read off the specials to the table next to us. I would have loved to try the pasta with sea urchin that was a special but unfortuntely I wasn’t informed of the specials. I think she didnt like us because we spoke english amongst ourselves although we spoke in just fine italian to order. Perhaps she doesn’t like tourists. In addition to this, she was very standoffish and pushy. She looked so dissapointed when we did not order wine, almost disgusted. It was very displeasing. When we ordered an appetizer to share, she also looked upset and asked if we would like to order 3 portions of the same appetizer instead of one telling us it wouldnt be enough food. We ordered one antipasto, three entrees and two desserts and were stuffed… For dessert, same thing, we shared two and she looked upset that we didn’t order 3. I also tried to order a dessert that was on the menu, and she abruptly said nope dont have that. Pick something else. For context, the second evening we went we asked if they had the dessert they didn’t have the evening before to another member of the waitstaff and they kindly and gently explained unfortunately they did not because it was a seasonal item and suggested we try something else. This woman that clearly is in charge and takes each tables order does not know how to smile or how to treat people. Such a shame for such a fabulous restaurant. I even told her when paying for our bill, you never mentioned any specials to our table. She responded “I didn’t?” I responded “no” and she responded. Oh I must be tired. No apology, no sorry, no sense of remorse. After paying, she didn’t even say thank you. Almost like a robot. A smile and some human like qualities go a long way especially in a restaurant of this caliber. All of the other wait staff were gentle, kind and warm. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to expand the wait staff taking orders and allow some of the staff that is professional and welcoming to take orders instead of this unfriendly woman. I couldn’t believe how uncomfortable she made us feel both evenings and to not even say thank you after explaining that we were unhappy that she didnt list specials is odd. This is the first review I write like this and do not get me wrong, the food is great but the woman in charge’s attitude is...

Read moreWe had one of the worst service experiences in Italy here. The food itself was fine (not amazing, but decent), but the way we were treated made the whole evening unpleasant. • We waited 40 minutes before anyone came to take our order. • Staff gave us strange looks when we said we wanted to share a starter, and even questioned whether we really needed two mains. • There was no check-in, no water refill, no attention during the meal. • Meanwhile, other tables (especially older guests) received constant attention, fast service, and regular check-ins.
It felt like we were deliberately ignored just because we are younger. For a bill of nearly €90, this was shocking and unacceptable.
Future guests should be aware: the food may be okay, but the service can be dismissive and biased. We left feeling unwelcome and...
