Siamo stati in questo bel locale oggi pomeriggio e devo dire che ci siamo trovati molto bene. Direttamente in riva al lago, si gode di una piacevole vista. Nonostante la domenica soleggiata e calda abbiamo atteso solo pochi minuti per trovare posto al tavolo, a pochi metri dal lago. Panini ottimi e ben farciti: pane caldo e croccante, affettato tagliato sottile e non grossolanamente come spesso si trova in certi posti...I dolci, fatti in casa, sono buonissimi! Inoltre una sterminata lista di birre fa senz'altro ingolosire gli amanti di questa bevanda. Conto adeguato per una famiglia affamata di 2 adulti e 2 ragazzine. Insomma, il Freelance rimarrà il nostro punto di riferimento a Mergozzo per un pasto all'aperto veloce e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

We had a spontaneous lunch at the Birreria. Service was fast, and very friendly. There is a nice selection of sandwiches, pasta and salads. The location is stunning, you see the charming water front, and the lake at the same time.

Ottima birreria, situata proprio davanti al pittoresco lago di Mergozzo, adatta per godersi un pranzo veloce o una birra fresca al tramonto in estate. Il menù, neanche a dirlo, è pieno di valide proposte di birre particolari provenienti da tutta Europa, le stesse spine cambiano spesso e sono particolari. Validissima è pure la cucina, consiglio il tagliere che è abbondante e presenta numerose scelte del territorio ossolano. Anche i panini sono buonissimi. Lo staff, infine, è gentile e veloce, nonostante la marea di gente che spesso invade il locale, riescono a dare un valido servizio. Consigliatissimo.

Il menù, neanche a dirlo, è pieno di valide proposte di birre particolari provenienti da tutta Europa, le stesse spine cambiano spesso e sono particolari. Validissima è pure la cucina, consiglio il tagliere che è abbondante e presenta numerose scelte del territorio ossolano. Anche i panini sono buonissimi. Lo staff, infine, è gentile e veloce, nonostante la marea di gente che spesso invade il locale, riescono a dare un valido servizio. Consigliatissimo.

The service was friendly and helpful and the seating with a view of the lake was very nice, but one of us didn't feel well after eating a dish and had to throw up SEVERAL TIMES!

We don't know if it was because of the dish and I don't want to leave a bad impression of the restaurant, but something like that makes you think that your stomach will turn straight after.

In the end, I wouldn't recommend it - there are plenty of better...

Unfriendly Rude owner and old waitress and horrible mojito. The older lady shook her head when we spoke English and was not friendly. The mojito had way too much lemon and barely mint. I had to wait for the owner to pay the bill. He pulled the bill out of my hand didn't look at me and threw the change on the bar. What an awful place. There was a younger girl and a bartender that were nice. But I'm sorry they've got this...
