Dear Restaurant Management
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent dining experience at Mamajuana in Milan. Unfortunately, the overall visit was marred by several significant issues, which I believe require your immediate attention and improvement.
Slow Service: The service at Mamajuana was incredibly slow and inefficient. I had to endure a painstaking wait of twenty minutes just to receive a glass of water or wine. It was frustrating to see the staff seemingly unbothered by the extensive wait times, leading to an unpleasant start to the meal.
Tasteless Food: When the food finally arrived, it was nothing short of a disappointment. The dishes lacked any semblance of taste and were quite unappetising. The food resembled something hastily prepared on the street rather than a restaurant that claims to offer a quality dining experience.
Chaotic Atmosphere: The atmosphere inside the restaurant was utterly chaotic and uninviting. The noise level was deafening, with everyone around us shouting to be heard. This loud and disruptive environment made it impossible to have a reasonable conversation, let alone hear the persons I was dining with.
I believe it's essential for a restaurant to maintain a certain level of ambiance and tranquillity to allow customers to enjoy their meals comfortably. Unfortunately, the chaotic atmosphere at Mamajuana detracted significantly from the overall dining experience.
As a paying customer, I expected much more from a reputed restaurant like Mamajuana. The poor service, lacklustre food quality, and disruptive atmosphere were utterly unacceptable, leaving me with an unfavourable impression of your establishment.
I sincerely hope that you take my feedback into consideration and make the necessary improvements to avoid such instances in the future. As of now, I find it hard to recommend Mamajuana to anyone seeking a pleasant dining...

The food, while not perfectly authentic, is delightful. The decor and music transport diners to a lively Latin haven, enhancing the experience. However, the service is lacking; our server seemed irritated by our questions.
The "bandeja paisa" puzzled us, as it featured shavings of meat instead of the traditional steak or beef. Despite staff insistence, this deviation was disappointing. On the bright side, the plantains are delicious—just avoid the ones with cheese. The pollo guisado is a creative and tasty twist on the classic, and the white rice is impressively authentic.
In summary, this restaurant provides a welcome break from Italian cuisine with some standout dishes, but it falls a little short in authenticity and service given that the staff sincerely looked upset...
Read moreFood was amazing, clean and tidy place. But Our issue was the service on the table, they brought everything we ordered at once, so imagine two people in one small table having 6 big different plates, we asked if they could take one plate back cause we didn’t have space to eat,not even spare plates to place the food as we were sharing, not only they didn’t bring spare plates, they didn’t even try to find a solution to a table packed with plates, we were totally ignored to our issue,so if we ordered 20 dishes we would have 20 dishes together 😅,a nightmare . Won’t be visiting again as it was way too stressful and not a great experience. People don’t come just for the food but for the experience, please do better and listen to the...
