Maxi Bar Di De Nigris Mario — Restaurant in Milan

The concept of a coffee shop combined with a bar and a place to have some light foods is probably unknown to most Americans. However, as an American abroad, this lovely little place was a comfort zone for me. I stayed in an Airbnb that was about a five minute walk away. It was perfect for a cappuccino in the morning, a snack at noon, and a cocktail in the evening. They are gracious with complementary light foods when you order a drink or two. These are the types of places that are sadly missing in American society. It would be so nice to walk down the street before work, and have a good coffee and a small breakfast. Or, to stop there on the way home for a drink or two, and share conversation about the day with others who frequent the place. Un bar di quartiere autentico e accogliente, dove il tempo sembra trascorrere più lentamente. Il titolare è una persona squisita. Pur non essendo clienti quotidiani ricorda sempre le nostre consumazioni. La domenica è tappa fissa per me e mia moglie, un rito che ci fa iniziare la giornata con il sorriso.
