Sapurì French tacos — Restaurant in Milan

I visited this amazing place with my wife. The ambience is extremely good with having a chance to sit outside if you are not in mood to eat inside. We ordered two combos, French Tacos (8€ only) and Shawarma Kebab (6.5€ only). Both were delicious and it reminded me of restaurants back in my home country.

The best part of this restaurant is their humble and understanding staff. We asked about the availability of mensa card and they said yes mistakenly considering us as unimi students but in actual, we were from polimi. Cutting short, I went to pay the bill and then we came to know that polimi mensa is not accepted here. After this, I urged for like 3-4 times to let me pay the full bill but that lady never accepted that and told me to pay the bill which is more than the mensa balance and consider it as a bonus so I paid the remaining amount of 4.5€. I was so impressed by that gesture but equally felt bad that she didn't accept the the whole bill which the restaurant...

I visited this Tunisian restaurant with high expectations, especially after reading the glowing reviews. Being Tunisian myself, I was excited to experience familiar flavors, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to what I know and love about authentic Tunisian cuisine. The quality was underwhelming, and I felt it didn’t do justice to the rich and vibrant flavors that Tunisian food is known for.

On a positive note, the décor was beautifully done and truly reflected Tunisia’s cultural charm. The ambiance was inviting, but unfortunately, the food didn’t match the experience I was hoping for.

It’s disappointing when a restaurant receives great reviews but doesn’t deliver on authenticity and quality. I hope they can improve the food to better represent what Tunisian cuisine...

As a French student who really enjoy French tacos, I was not only surprised that there was a place in Milan that does them, but I was shocked to discover how close they are to the real deal. Like in France, the way to eat them is to choose crema formaggio as the cheese and algérienne sauce. The fries were perfectly cooked, and if you make your crema formaggio even more creamy, it would be perfection!

Edit: I would also like to add that for a fast food place, it was extremely clean and it has a cozy atmosphere that actually makes you want...
