After the transfer of the market in another area of Milan, the Palazzina Liberty has been in a state of neglect for several years. During the seventies (1974-1980) the building was granted for use to the "Collective Theatre the City" of Dario Fo, which adopts it as a theater venue for its shows.
In 1980 the Palazzina became the headquarters of the Civic Band of Milan. In 1992 the renovation works were completed and the Palazzina Liberty was dedicated to recreational and cultural initiatives. Since 1994, the Orchestra da Camera Milano Classica has held its own concert season; it has been the venue of the Festival "Senza Parole", an exhibition of silent films accompanied by live soundtracks.
