Su Barrile — Restaurant in Milan

We arrived at 2pm, restaurant closing at 3pm.

We were greeted quite nicely and ordered a Pizza each.

The pizza was quite nice, however upon trying to order a second dish 35min before lunch break of the restaurant we were told the kitchen is already closed, much to our dismay.

Next, nowhere on the menu card was the service fee indicated. Once we received the bill it hit us as a shock. 3€ per person as service fee. The usual fee is 1.50€-2€ in Milano. We ordered 2 Pizza & 0.75L water for 18€ and paid 6€ service fee. 33% extra. Thats too much.

Additionally and lastly, the water bottle we purchased was 0.75L. But the bill indicated 1L water. We asked why it said 1L, when the bottle said 0.75L.

The waitress waved us off and we left. We have to assume it's a tourist trap. Wouldn't recommend. The pizza itself...

I have never had such a terrible experience in a restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the waitress outright refused to let us in without any valid explanation. Thankfully, the chef behind us intervened and allowed us to enter, mentioning that only pizzas were being served that evening. Once seated, things only got worse. The waitress rushed us to place our order, and during the entire meal, she stood awkwardly near our table, staring at us as if waiting for us to finish and leave. It was extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful. We couldn’t even enjoy our food properly. I strongly advise avoiding this place due to such...

Che schifo !!! Poi si lamentano che non lavorano ! Cameriera che merita di andare al pane quotidiano...eee rimanere fuori ! Sciaguratamente mi sono trovato anzi obbligato ad entrare in questo che una volta era un locale da consigliare ...mentre oggi non lo consiglierei nemmeno a un naufrago che non mangia e non beve da mesi !...anche perché sarebbe inutile ...visto che stai seduto quasi un'ora e non ti caga nessuno . Credetemi ! L'ho vissuto veramente ! Il locale è piccolo con una trentina di posti a sedere ...e ieri a pranzo c'erano letteralmente 6 persone di cui una aveva terminato il suo pasto e si accingeva a pagare ...rimasti in 5 RIPETO 5 clienti ...arrivano tre persone , la cameriera le fa accomodare eee mentre io aspettavo già da 15/20 minuti porta da bere agli ultimi arrivati 🤦‍♂️...passano altri 15 minuti eee il fenomeno ( che ancora non si è presentata nemmeno una volta dagli altri tavoli ) che fa' ?! Con naturalezza si reca a prendere l'ordine agli ultimi arrivati 😤...io mi sono alzato e me ne sono andato mentre altri si limitavano a mugugnare 🤷🏻‍♂️. Il bello che tutto questo è successo sotto gli occhi dei titolari ( che poi credo siano : il pizzaiolo e il cuoco ) eee hanno assistito a tutta la sce na senza dire nulla ( anche perché la maleducata forse è la moglie di uno dei due ). Oggi persone che conosco sono andate a pranzo e mi hanno confermato la maleducazione di questa pseudo cameriera eee hanno anche detto che si mangia MALISSIMO e costa caro !...
