U2 Caffè — Restaurant in Milan

So one year later from my first visit, I have changed my mind about this caffé/resto. The food has improved tremendously and I must admit I have become a regular. I've had very good pasta with shrimp and zucchini, lasagna, beef ribs which is particularly good, vitello tonnato and other dishes. The service is friendlier and it's nice when the staff remembers your drink preferences. I appreciate the effort to keep improving. And really at 9.50 Euros, for a 2 course meal with a side vegetable, and water or wine, the price is unbeatable for the quality. Thank you.

Seven and a half months later and here I am again, giving this caffé/resto another chance and I have to say this time I was not disappointed. The food is quite good for the price and the portions are generous. The risotto with Speck and Zucchini could have been made with a stronger broth but the Bistecca was surprisingly good as were the vegetables which were fresh this time around. Service is brusque as ever but it was quite busy. April 2025

Probably the worst meal I've ever had in Italy. The pasta was ok but not the best supermarket brand available and the sauce was watery. The omelette was cooked in a very bland oil. The vegetables were not fresh but from a frozen package. The red wine simply awful. To make things worse, the place had so many flies. I had to leave mid meal. Well at least the coffee was...

Un posto ideale per un pranzo di lavoro veloce!!! Il cibo è buono ed il personale è cordiale e dinamico. La struttura offre diverse opzioni per accomodarsi: spazi interni comodi, un giardino esterno piacevole e aree esterne coperte. La capienza è adeguata e ci sono molte opzioni per scegliere dove stare. Consiglio sicuramente questo posto per un pranzo di lavoro veloce e efficiente. Ottimo rapporto...
