A friend of mine strongly recommended this place to me, so we tried it.||We stayed here for two nights. We were the only guests at this days, and we received a very courteous treatment.||The room was more than good enough for us. A comfortable bed, TV, clean big bathroom and good WIFI connection is everything I need ;). Specially the great view from the balcony across the peaceful lake was a awesome start in the day (pic 1). ||The rooms are above a traditional Italian restaurant. (Try the Luccio in Carpione!) I liked to drink delicious local wine next to the fireplace down there. Having a chat with the very friendly owner Simone let me get to know the place and the area much more, which I appreciated a lot.||||The Village where it is situated is called Monasterolo del Castello. It is a very quiet place. We wanted to hike in the mountains and visit the big Iseo lake. For this purpose the hotel was a perfect base. To the very nice city of Bergamo we went 20 minutes by car. Also this trip was completely worth it. The old town is amazing (pic 2)! If you dont have a car you can find a bus connection from the airport of Bergamo until the village. There you can basically go out of the door and start hiking if you like. If you drive for one hour by car you have the choice between plenty of ski areas, which are great as well!||I suppose during summer the hotel and the restaurant is even nicer. There is a outside area in front of the restaurants. For us it was just perfect now.||I would say it is a place for everybody who appreciate the beauty of nature and still want to have delicious food and comfortable accommodation. ||We highly recommend this place as well!||||Thanks again for this great days Simone....

Read moreI loved having dinner here! This is a quite spot in the middle of the mountains, near the beautiful lake of Endine. The restaurant is big, there are internal and external tables, I’d obviously suggest the outside ones as they face the lake, so if you go at sunset time there’s an amazing view and colors. The staff is super nice and very welcoming, ready to help and kind. The service is not very fast, but I think that it’s not even so long, you can take that time to enjoy the view or take a walk along the lake. The food is amazing: everything I had was extraordinary tasty and had intense flavors! I’d recommend to take the dessert, I tried the cremoso and it was exquisite. Also the pricing is 10+: we had two starters, two main courses, two dessert, 2 diet cokes and 1 water and the bill was around 80 euros! I’d strongly suggest this place, really...
