I don't think you can have better taste of what Italian traditional food is lie than this amazing restaurant, located in a hidden corner of moncalvo. We went there for the celebration of the "fat ox" where you can have a look at some stunning animals being rewarded, and have a walk around an ancient town of italy, located among hills. Speaking if this restaurant, they started to serve some antipasto of salumi, delicious Italian salami made with ox. Then they kept going with tagliata, which is some ox raw meat, very tender, cutted by hand very finely and added only oil some lemon, salt and pepper. Capsicum with ragù on top, mind blowing sweet taste, for then serving the famous "bollito" parts of the ox just boiled. Among those parts we have some cotechino, some tender muscles, some tendons, tongue, some parts of the head of the ox and others 🙄🐂.. For the finishing with ravioli.. Not to forget to mention the dessert 😅🍰.. This restaurant has also a wide choice of wines.. Superb. Expect to pay from 20 to 30 euros...
