The decor is a bit old, I suppose as old as the owner - it does have its charm though. If he would put more attention to details it would be a great "vintage" place. Ice cream is absolutely stunning, both the singular flavours and the bigger cups with fruits etc. Their cafeteria products are also very good. It's a bit pricey but it's just Moneglia being not exactly cheap overall, so I'd say they play fair. The owner isn't the most welcoming person ever and looks like customers are more a nuisance than a pleasure for him. The barista woman behind the counter looked okay I guess?, while the darker girl at the ice creams is lovely, very nice manners. Die kleine Pause mit einem leckeren Eis haben wir gerne genossen. Das Eis war geschmacklich wirklich gut und bot eine schöne Auswahl an Sorten, sodass jeder von uns fündig wurde. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hatte viel Geduld mit unseren Kids, was wir besonders geschätzt haben. Die Mitarbeitenden waren auch bei kleinen Extrawünschen sehr hilfsbereit und blieben ruhig, obwohl es zeitweise ziemlich voll war.

Allerdings gibt es im Innenbereich Luft nach oben: Die Einrichtung wirkte insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und im hinteren Bereich war es stellenweise unordentlich, zum Beispiel standen Tische und Stühle etwas chaotisch, und der Boden hätte eine gründlichere Reinigung vertragen. Auch die Dekoration wirkte nicht sehr stimmig, sodass das Ambiente ein wenig an Gemütlichkeit verloren hat. Hier würde ein kleines Update mit mehr Liebe zum Detail sicherlich viel bewirken.

Unterm Strich ein netter Ort für eine kurze Auszeit und gutes Eis, vor allem wegen des freundlichen Services. Wenn das Interieur noch aufgewertet und gepflegter gestaltet wird, kann das Erlebnis künftig deutlich...
